The influence of structure of side chain upon hydration of cement in early period was seldom studied.
And the structure of side chain may exert an influence on the performance of PCs significantly.

Cementation materials are commonly used worldwide for buildings and civil structures.
Additionally, the effects of TiO2 content in these composites on the crystalline phase, crystalline structure and microstructure were investigated.
While these reactions were occurring, the results indicate that the structures of CSH and Ca(OH)2 were continuously being produced and ongoing.
The ettringite structure occurred in a 2 step hydration reaction between C3A, water and Gypsum, as shown in eq. 2 and eq. 3, respectively.

After analyzing the XRD of PtC they concluded that it exhibits a rock salt type structure at suitable conditions.
They have also concluded that B1 structure of PtC is metastable and it can transform to B3 structure at certain conditions.
Our present study shows that B3 structure is the ground state structure at zero pressure and it undergoes a phase transition to B1 structure at a pressure of 50 GPa and the same trend was reported by others using DFT and ab-initio calculations.
