And the nuclear accident occurred in Fukushima because of the leakage of spent fuel pool which lead to the damage of spent fuel components and the leakage of radioactive materials.
Water in the pool contains Boric acid which is corrosive to some materials and the highest temperature of the plant is which may damage the motors and electric components.
Therefore, we should take the effect of radiation, Boric acid and high temperature into account when designing robot and selecting materials.

TSA has more deterioration to all cement-based material than conventional sulfate attack because its target is C-S-H gel.
Cement-based material containing limestone is more susceptible to TSA.
Two bands with frequencies at 670, 499 cm-1 can be observed in 0-1mm layer, which are characteristic of the octahedral [SiO6] groups and indicates the presence of thaumasite because thaumasite is the only mineral containing Si in octahedral coordination[11] in all cement-based materials.
