Considering traditional SnO2-based gas sensor working with higher operating temperature and lower gas response, preparation of 1D SnO2 materials and investigating their gas sensing properties to characteristic fault gases dissolved in transformer oil are in great demand.
Gao: Journal of Nanomaterials, Vol. 2012, (2012) Article ID 612420, 9 pages. doi:10.1155/2012/612420. ].
Such a higher quasi-linear dependence indicates that the as-prepared fiber-like SnO2 based gas sensor can be used as promising materials for online monitoring H2 dissolved in transformer oil.
As we know SnO2 is a typical n-type semiconducting material, and its gas sensing property was dominated by the change of surface electrical resistance. When placed in air ambient SnO2 nanofibers adsorb the oxygen molecule on the surface and a depletion region is formed on SnO2 surface, which decreases the number of charge carriers.
Dai: Science, 287 (2000) p.622. ], which makes them highly sensitive and efficient transducers of surface gas sensing reactions into electrical signals.

Materials and Methods Development of Experimental Apparatus An experimental programme was conducted to assess the efficiency of EKS when applied to soft clay soil.
The EKS model apparatus consisted of tank made of non-conductive material (PVC-U sheet) to prevent short circuiting.
The electric current variations with treatment time for the same type of electrode are comparable with Liaki [10] who reported that the current initially increase at about 14 mA, while it then drops within the first 100 hours of treatment, as resistant of the materials increases and the voltage was set at the constant level.

Each state involves five feature types of the material, function, structure, process, and management.
Although each state describes the different point of manufacturing chain, overall features such as material and function information are the same in manufacturing states and design state.

Introduction The slab filled with Disused Expanded Polystyrene Plastic(DEPP)[1] is one kind of cast-in-place floors which places processed molding DEPP in the floor’s neutral axis location according to certain arrangement rules to save materials, decrease self weight and highly improve its functions such as heat preservation, heat insulation and sound insulation.
In brief, with the same size and material strength and reinforcement, the mechanical performances of the ordinary hollow slab and the unidirectional slab filled with DEPP under the same load fit very well.
The unidirectional slab filled with DEPP is able to save materials and enhance economical efficiency in the premise of guaranteeing the mechanical performances as the ordinary hollow slab.

Introduction Chitosan is a non-toxic and chemically reactive, and biocompatible natural functional polymer, and has long been used as a biopolymer and natural material in many fields[1,2].
Organosilicon has advantages such as excellent flexibility, elasticity and the easiness in film forming due to dual characteristic of both organic and inorganic materials and unique structure[7].
Experimental Materials Boiled and bleached cotton fabric(150g/m2); Degrading commercial chitosan (the viscosity average molecular weight is 50,000, and degree of deacetylation is 85%); HA-920 epoxy-silicone micro-emulsion; Acetic acid was of analytical grade.
