Grouting materials such as Portland cement and soluble glass(also called sodium silicate) are employed in most of excavation projects to reinforce this sand stratum.
Experiment 2.1 Materials Microfine cements with a specific surface area of 8000,9000,12000,15000 m2/g respectively were bought fromTientsin yuyang microfine breeze processing Ltd.
Results and discussion 3.1 Effect of suspending agents on the suspension property of microfine cements Although the particle size of microfine cement grouting materials is much smaller than that of Portland cement, the sedimentation is still very obvious.
(2)A penetration extension of 23cm is obtained when the specific surface area of grouting materials reaches 9000m2/g.
