In order to simplify the mathematical model of PMSM, we make the following assumptions: 1）Magnetic saturation, hysteresis and eddy current losses can be ignored as well as magnetic circuit is linear. 2）There is no damper winding on rotor and permanent magnet can generate sinusoidal magnetic field in the air gap, without higher harmonics. 3）The electrical conductivity of permanent magnetic material is zero and the magnetic linkage generated by permanent magnet is cross-linked with stator completely.

The earliest studies about contact was proposed by Hertz and a Hertzian contact model was presented with the assumption of ideal hemisphere, elastic deformation[1].The Hertzian model is only valid for the situation of isotropic materials and small deformation.
In this paper, the Greenwood and Williamson’s model is employed as the elasto-plastic constitution of the materials.
