MODULAR SPR – MATERIALS AND SET-UP Device components This SPR biosensor is based on Kretschmann configuration that consists of the following components; white light source (wavelength range 450-650 nm, 50 µW power), polarizer (vis 700 BC3 CW03), variable angle reflection sampling system (VARSS) device that has been modified, prism, thin gold film coated on circular glass disk ( ~21µm thickness), single channel cell, portable pulsatic pump for supplying liquid samples and HR-4000-UV-NIR photodetector with spectra suit software.
