The concept of low-carbon scenic area can be summarized by the following functions: LCSA (Low-carbon Scenic Area) =f (D,E,T,C,P) Among them, D represents the developmental stage, and this is an origin and background of low-carbon transition for a scenic area; E represents the resources & environment, it is the material basis of achieving low-carbon tourism; T represents the emission-reduction technology, refers to the development of high-tech low-carbon technology, equipment and resource-recycling utilization; C represents the consumer operation, means the carbon efficiency of operational management and operating mode of low-carbon tourism consumption in scenic area; P represents the policy concept, is an opportunity and external stimulation to the low-carbon transition of scenic area.
