Introduction There is enormous literature on the development of composite materials for manufacturing light weight, low cost and robust structural materials for aerospace and automotive applications.
Metal matrix composites containing a high volume fraction of carbide, nitride, boride, or oxide particles are the materials of choice for applications that require good wear resistance, good thermal stability and higher specific strength. [1,2].

These materials show excellent optical and mechanical behavior at nanoscale.
The band gap of these materials varies from 1.42 to 3.7 eV.
These materials show excellent optical and mechanical behavior at nanoscale.
The most popular choices of quantum dot materials are CdSe and CdS.

As a new functional material, it can be used as carrier transport material or luminescent material in small devices [2, 3].
The effects of the following variances on product structure were detected: (1) in the same ratio of raw material and the synthesis temperature, with different kinds of solvent, hydrohalogen acid, dehydrated alcohol, methanol, and DMF were chosen as the solvent. (2) In the same solvent and synthesis temperature, with different ratio of raw materials, the matching corresponding to uniform data points during the scale of C4H9NH3Br:CH3NH3Br:CuBr2=2:1:2~2:3:2 were chosen; The product after reaction was performed with characterization test through filtration and vacuum drying.
When the ratio of raw materials was 2:2:2, relative intensity of the new peak in synthetical product was larger compared that of other ratio.

SHS welding has an advantage in welding dissimilar materials because of its rapid exothermic process and overall heat controlling.
So it has remarkable results on welding heat-resistant materials, non-corrosion oxide-ceramics or intermetallic compounds etc [4,5].

The impact of pipe material.
With the statistical analysis of pipeline accidents of this city, divided the percentage of the number of pipeline accidents for a certain pipe materials by the percentage of its length, in order to calculate the different pipe materials’ bursting and leaking coefficient (PMLC).
And the pipeline material of DN400~DN800 is mainly of ductile iron, concrete and steel, while the material of diameter above DN1000 is mainly of steel and concrete.
Therefore, the recommendation on the choice of pipe materials is using ductile iron pipe or new pipe preferably, in order to reduce the network accidents and guarantee water supply security.

Introduction The influence of chemical environment on mechanical properties and behaviour of materials can be illustrated by many examples.
Materials The investigations were conducted on high purity nickel foils (125 µm and 1mm thick) and wires (1mm diameter) with the chemical composition given in Table 1.
But in the plastic domain, NiO hardens the material by a composite effect.
