From Eq.(5), non-straight fibres result in a reduction in both the
effective inclusion thermal conductivity and fibre aspect ratio by a factor of Leq/L.
A size effect is observed, whereby a 10 3 reduction in inclusion diameter results in the Figure 3: Kc/Km of a 3D random long fibre composite as a function of hbd for anisotropic fibres, (a = KI,33/KI,11).
The extent of this reduction is dependent on the orientation of the anisotropy.
When the high thermal conductivity direction occurs in the fibre transverse direction (a < 1) there is a very significant reduction in Kc compared to the isotropic fibre.

The most conventional method used to fabricate commercial TiC
powders is by carbothermal reduction of mixture (TiO2 and carbon black).
By using TiO2 powders as raw material, the cost is significantly reduced, but the carbothermal reduction process is required to obtain high temperature (1700-2100℃) and a long reaction time (10-24 hours) as TiO2 and carbon are both in solid state [4].
In addition, the particle size of TiC powders fabricated is dependent on the size of raw TiO2 powders and it is difficult to produce submicron powders by carbothermal reduction unless the size of raw powders is below the submicron level.
It enhances microcracking and also may cause reduction in particle size reduction, which in turn result in an increase of the specific surface available for hydrogen adsorption.
This parameter increased to 0.431 nm, which consist well with JCPDS card data of TiC over 1000℃ heat treating temperature.

It was found that the treatment with the silanes was successful as similar behaviors for FT-IR data was observed [6-8].
The absence of pinholes is favorable for the reduction of the ethanol crossover.
There were a reduction in the zeolite pore size and the total pore volume after modification [5,8].
This lead to the reduction in ethanol permeation.
The permeability at 2 M ethanol was found to be about 25% reduction from recasted Nafion membrane and 20.43% reduction from Nafion/MOR-H composite membrane at 50oC.

Some of samples were cold rolled to obtain a 2.0 mm thickness sheet (a total reduction of
85%).
From the pole figure data obtained, the orientation distribution function (ODF) was computed using the formulation of Bunge [2].
Fig. 3(a) shows φ2=0° section and φ2=45° section of the ODFs for the specimen with cold rolling reduction of 85%.
Fig. 3(b) shows φ2=0° section and φ2=45° section of the ODFs for the specimen heat-treated at 1023K for 2.4ks with cold rolling reduction of 85%.

The data indicates that the fire fighter’s multi-layer fabric controls the heat and moisture transfer within fire fighter clothing and no positive contribution by any types of underwear.
The study for reduction of heat stress is done by many researchers [1-4].
l The slop of the linear regression shall be 0.0195 K·m2/W ± 10% l No individual data measurement shall be outside ± 10% of the value predicted by the linear regression.

For measured data, however, due to random errors and small inconsistencies in the data, the singular values will not become zero but will become very small.
Gabor transform is also applied as a time-frequency analysis tool to select the appropriate data.
We could effectively eliminate the noise from the measured data by using the proposed method.
It is therefore concluded that the signal-noise separation method presented in this paper can be used to provide more reliable data to other applications that require high quality data.

Ideally
system identification (SI) techniques would provide a more practical alternative directly from
experimental data (input-output data) which has the main advantages as follows: Better accuracy of
the parameter estimate; Applicability both to full-scale and model-scale tests; Reduction of time and
expense required by each trial; Simplification of the experimental equipment.
The input data needed are sway velocity, angular velocity of the underwater vehicle, and output data needed are rotate speeds of the thrusters.
To obtain the data needed, some trial of zigzag tests were carried out.
With these trial data of zigzag, adopting the method as stated above, the hydrodynamic derivatives of this vehicle were estimated.
Considering the number of error sources in the trials data and calculation errors in the simulation the results are reasonable.

Zhang investigated China’s carbon contents of trade and their determinates using data from 1987-2007, and the results revealed that China has become a net carbon exporting country since 2005, meanwhile, U.S. is the largest receiver of the products with embodied carbon emission from China [3].
Ahmad and Wyckoff studied the embodied emission within import products of 24 countries using 1995 data and reported Japan’s embodied emission within import products (QM) rose from 45Mt in 1993to 90.5 Mt in 1997 and it rose from 96.5Mt in 1993 to168.3 Mt in 1997 for U.S.
This analysis estimates the embodied carbon emission within trade based on 1997-2010 non-competitive input-output tables, which are established based on trade data from [6]and input-output tables of China[7].
QE to U.S. accounted for 4.71-8.12% of QP, while the reduction via QM is 0.56-1.00%.
QE to Japan contributed 2.22-4.28% of QP, while the reduction by QM was 1.16-1.66%.
