In the basic equation for the working process simulation, the following assumptions are made: (1) one-dimensional quasi-steady flow; (2) pressure drop is neglected; (3) The surface and internal temperature of the regenerator matrix filling material (such as stainless steel wire) are equal; (4) The gas kinetic energy is ignored; (5) The wall temperatures of the heater, cooler, expansion chamber and compression chamber keep constant except that of the regenerator; (6) The gas heat conduction along the axial is ignored; (7) Working fluid is a perfect gas with a constant specific heat ratio; (8) The working condition is stable and the speed is uniform.

Functional deterioration of buildings is caused by factors such as poor construction, lack of quality control supervision, inaccurate selection of building materials, and disorganized construction methods.
Unlike the 2D CAD technology that has been widely used, the BIM technique can display visual 3D geometric information of target objects (e.g., building locations, orientations, shapes, and interior dimensions) and other relevant information (e.g., structural engineering methods, mechanical electrical plumbing (MEP) directions, and the characteristics, weight, and price of building materials).
In addition, the Building SMART Alliance (bSa), an affiliate of the National Institute of Building Science, is dedicated to promoting and researching BIM.
