Materials The starting materials were commercials high-purity chloride base materials of barium chloride dehydrate (BaCl2.2H2O), lanthanum chloride heptahydrate (LaCl3.7H2O), zinc chloride (ZnCl2), manganese (II) chloride dehydrate (MnCl2.2H2O), and ferric (III) chloride hexahydrate (FeCl3.6H2O) synthesized by Merck.
Consequently, it causes a decrease in the anisotropic constant of the M-type barium ferrites materials.

The materials were grinded in an eccentric planetary ball mill by using wet grinding techniques.
The proportion between materials and silicone oil is about 1:100 (weight proportion).
The mass ratio of ball to milled materials was about 4:10.
Few materials have good solubility in silicone oil.

Typical neural interface passivation materials, such as SiO2 [3] or parylene C [4], have extended the lifetimes of research-grade neural interfaces beyond a year, but remain fundamentally limited by the material response in-vivo as well as the minimum thickness required to achieve reliable long-term passivation..
PECVD a-SiC:H has previously been shown to be a robust, chemically-inert, and highly insulating coating material, making it an appealing material for passivation layers in neural interface applications [5-6].

Probabilistic Fatigue Life Prediction Fatigue life prediction is a developing science and is influenced strongly by probabilistic issues.
These relate to the sequence and magnitude of loading, the size of defects and cracks in the material, the properties of the materials and quality of manufacture.
Description of Improved Method of Fatigue Design of Lighting Poles A simplified probabilistic based method has been developed for modelling the life of lighting poles subjected to wind, by incorporating probability functions into some of the key variables such as wind spectrum, crack growth and materials properties.

Introduction Electrical discharge machining (EDM) is one of the most effective non-traditional material remove processes.
It’s widely used because it can process electrically conductive materials without considering their hardness.
The workpiece material, the dielectric medium, the charging voltage, the capacitance and the polarity were identified as some of the contributing factors.
The results show that polarity, material and dielectric medium have insignificant effect on D, Tu, Ti, and Imax while C and Uc have significant effect on them.

Currently, titanium base oxides are wildly used as the substrate materials, such as TiO2.
Raw materials costs are not only the key factors of producing biodiesel costs, but also the main factors that influence the cost of DME and F-T fuel.
Selecting appropriate alternative fuel and suitable raw materials considering local conditions are key issues in promotion and application for alternative fuels on marine engine emissions. 3.3 Integrated application of various technologies With the implement of IMO Tier III emission limits, different solutions should be taken at different stages to control NOx and SOx emissions.
