The shearing strength of the structural layer mainly depends on the normal stress of the shear plane and the internal friction resistance angle within materials.
The particles and shape of gravel materials need to satisfy certain requirements, which specific requirements should be consistent with the requirements of the table 1.
When loading materials, it is necessary to respectively load the three parts of aggregates in the place of upper, middle and lower so as to avoid segregation
(3) Segregation should be in the charge of specially-assigned person, respectively for adding materials, watering and leveling up or directly digging out for another material

The modern tools of today's concurrent engineering (CE) based management are a wide array of instruments, plans, software, technical skills, human capabilities and resources.
Introduction Concurrent engineering (CE) is a work methodology based on the parallelization of tasks (i.e. performing tasks concurrently).
CE proposes a continuous flow of data, information, decisions, materials, tools, human skills and important management decisions that will eventually lead to a viable product which will bring profit.

Research on materials is the focused area in aerospace sector because reducing aircraft/spacecraft weight and/or increasing the temperature capabilities is the key factor in increasing the performance.
Introduction Materials play a key role in Aerospace Industry because of low density, high strength and high stiffness aspects.
The materials scenario is fast changing and development of new materials are being reported very rapidly.
Keeping in mind the key requirements for materials of aerospace industry four different types of materials are considered for the study namely Light weight metals (includes Aluminum, Titanium alloys and Intermetallic), Superalloys, Coatings (especially focused on TBC/EBC) and Composites.

Experimental Research on Erosion and Corrosion of WC-base Matrix Materials for Drill Bits under Impingement of Drilling Muds Longchen Duan1,a, Anne Neville2,b and Yu Yan2,c 1 Faculty of Engineering, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China, 430074 2 School of Mechanical Engineering, Leeds University, Leeds, UK, LS2 9JT a duanlongchen@163.com; ba.neville@leeds.ac.uk; cmenyya@leeds.ac.uk Keywords: Drilling muds, Drill bits, Matrix materials, Erosion and corrosion Abstract.
The composition of the matrix materials is shown in Table 2.
Table 2 Composition of matrix materials NO.
The increase of Ni and WC contents in the studied matrix materials will lower the volume loss of matrix materials.
The contents of WC, as the skeleton materials in the matrix materials, can not surpass the certain limited value, or the impact toughness and bending strength of matrix materials will decrease rapidly.

CECA is used to identify the key disadvantage of the engineering system, accomplished by building cause - effect chain of disadvantages that link the target disadvantage to its fundamental causes.
· Use of composite materials.
Composite materials can be used to create seals and other components that are both strong and lightweight.
With the combination of principle of composite materials and asymmetry – a new idea was conceptualised wherein the engineering system had final their components that could perform all the desired functionality.

Surface Behaviors of ELID Ground Engineering Ceramics Jianyun Shen1, Weimin Lin 2, Hitoshi Ohmori2 and Xipeng Xu1 1 Provincial Key Research Lab for Stone Machining, Huaqiao University, China 2 Materials Fabrication Laboratory, The Institute of Physical and Chemical Research, Japan Keywords: Ceramic, ELID Grinding, Surface Behaviors Abstract.
Based on the analysis of material properties and detailed micro-observation of ground surfaces, it can be concluded that the material removal mechanism of engineering ceramic is closely related to its mechanical properties.
Therefore, it is necessary to understand the effect of grain size and morphology on the material removal mechanisms of engineering ceramics in grinding processes [1].
Bifano deduced a critical depth of cut for the ductile-to-brittle transition in grinding of brittle materials, and proved that it was closely related with the mechanical properties of brittle materials [6].
Fig.5 Smooth surface of Si3N4 ceramic Conclusions Difference in mechanical properties for engineering ceramic materials should lead to difference in the surface behaviours during ELID grinding process.

How to obtain the geometry of an object has been one of the main topics in reverse engineering (RE).
CGI uses CNC milling machines to remove the materials and CCD cameras to capture images.
No results are shown for objects made of other materials.
However, for materials of high hardness, regular milling cutters may not be adequate.
