The Application of METSIM in Hydrometallurgy Process: A Case Study

Abstract: In this paper, the simulation of a typical hydrometallurgy process using METSIM has been discussed, and the function of METSIM in calculating mass balance for different hydrometallurgical operation units has been addressed.
The main modules are summarized as follows: l Generic: mixer, separator, splitter, pump, sump, launder, pipe, and tank l Mining: ore, shovel, truck, dredge, clam shell, barge, and ship l Material handling: stockpile, screen, bin, hopper, conveyor, and heap leach drainage l Comminution: crusher, screen, mill, decanter, separator, classifier, and compactor l Beneficiation: flotation, gravity separator, magnetic separator, coal spiral, and dense media bath/cyclone/drum/sump/general/screen/vessel l Hydrometallurgy: column, stripper/absorber, extraction, electrolytic cell, electrowinning cell, filter, thickener, crystallizer, water spray, and pond l Pyrometallurgy: autoclave, flash separator, burner, reactor, dryer, and furnace The advantages of using METSIM are summarized as follows: l In METSIM, The equipment type and scale of production can be adjusted according to the user’s requirement, therefore, providing much flexibility during process designing, and further, enabling the optimization

Practical Adjustment of Stratum Series for S Oilfield

The static structure of FMS is described with UML,
but for the dynamic characteristics of the system we complete with object-oriented petri nets, and
then the system Petri net model was transform into the UML state diagrams and sequence diagrams
according to the corresponding mapping and the transformation rule, thus we obtain a integrity
model of the system while improving the reliability of the model.

Summary
After the late 20th century, especially in the 21st century, with the development of the knowledge economy, the number of service goods provided and consumption began to rise sharply, establishing cost pricing based on material cost, due to neglect market factors, in theoretically lack researching on service goods pricing more in-depth, gradually expose the defect of lacking practical guidance, affect in-depth development of new markets, make service enterprises face difficulty of shrinking market; The competition-oriented pricing strategy is that enterprises adjust their prices based on competitors' pricing, or widen differences with competitors through technological innovation, but because of replicability and non-patent factors in mobile communication service model, make the advantages of technological innovation difficult maintain for long, so it is possible to make enterprises fall into the negative competition by reducing price.
