Ultimate Strength Research of Plates Based on Combined Theory of Strength and Stability Method

Article Preview

Abstract:

this paper calculates ultimate strength about simply supported plates based on Combine Theory of Strength and Stability(CTSS for short). Comparing the results of experimental result, the Finite Element Method and empirical Formula, the method is simple and validity to guide the Engineering design. On this base, it is derived that method of buckling analysis by CTSS is the consistent with CCS
