Abstract: Combining the explicit Lagrangian difference method for the continuum body and strength reduction technology, this paper analyzed the stability of Xian Feng open-pit. The generalized shear strain and plastic strain interconnected within the weak structural plane of slope are used as criterion to identify slope failure state. Analysis of the example verifies that the criterion is rational. With the calculate model, it can predict the open-pit ultra-high slope stability after five years. Its results are similar to the traditional limit equilibrium method. Therefore, the method is reasonably practicable. So the result will be important significance to guide the post-construction of mine.

Abstract: The article is about the treatment of deep soft clay foundation of the highway project in Yunnan province. Firstly, it analyses the principle and the different features of vertical enhance body composite foundation, including gravel pile, cement soil pile, CFG pile. All kinds of condition should be considered, such as soft clay characteristics, clay mechanics index, the bearing capacity calculation, settlement and stability analysis, to get a treatment plan by using the results of qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation. Then it verifies treatment effect and summarizes characteristics and treatment laws of deep soft clay depending on the detection and construction monitor to guide design and construction.

Abstract: To offer those who are engaged in oil development a multi-objective design method of borehole trajectory for a directional well, the author adopted optimization theory to build a multi-objective optimization mathematic model with the shortest trajectory, the lowest drill string torque and the minimum rig hook load as final objectives, and put forward an approach to seek effective solutions to these multi-objective programming problems with ideal point method. The approach proposed in the paper can help satisfy concurrently multiple objectives of drilling design for an oilfield to implement the multi-objective optimization design schemes of borehole trajectory for a directional well, and to reduce the oilfield development costs accordingly.

Abstract: Taking excavation and supporting of surge tank large-scale underground cavern group of Nuozhadu hydropower station as example, the stability of surrounding rock is analyzed systematically, and the best lining scheme is obtained. Through primary supporting calculation, the displacement and the small main stress increases continuously with excavation of cavern; the rock-point safety factor of decreases continuously with excavation of cavern; the displacement, the small main stress and the rock-point safety factor soon changed when the surrounding rock unloaded suddenly, therefore, the surrounding rock must be supported timely. After excavation, the maximum total displacement is 10.57mm, the maximum tensile stress is far less than the tensile strength of surrounding rock, and the minimum safety factor of key point does not satisfy the requirement of standard; the surrounding rock surface will be broken but not large-area damage basis of excavation. The key point’s safety factor changes and the safety factor satisfies the standard requirement only when the elevation of the second lining larger than this key point. According to lining scheme comparison, the scheme that concrete of surge tank pouring to elevation 625.5m is the most economic and reasonable lining scheme for this engineering.

The results will put forward the theoretical basis for the utility of new resource in the green resident building design and promote the extensive apply of them.

Abstract: The properties of roof play an important role in the formation and occurrence of rock burst. FLAC 3D is used to simulate the process of excavation and collapse in face advance with difference roof properties based on the elastic theory and field data of “7.16 Accident of rock burst” at Chengshan coal mine. As a result, the energy distribution law on the monitoring plan under different roof properties is given with Fish function. According to the analysis above, hard roof is a crucial reason to cause the accident.

Abstract: In this paper mixed variable method is generalized to solve the problem of bending of the rectangular plate with one side is fixed (simple) on the edge simply supported and fixed half under the action of a uniformly distributed load. Gives the surface deflection equation and a chart, the chart can be directly applied to engineering practice.

Abstract: Centrifugal nozzle is an important part of an areoengine in which fuel atomization has strong influence on engine performance. For investigating the fuel spray characteristics, a promising method named off-axis particle holographic measuring system is used here. Characteristics of the nonevaporating spray ejected from a new type of centrifugal nozzle which would be used in the near future are obtained under various injection conditions. By automatic analysis of the holographic reconstructed droplets images, a hollow-cone shape spray with most droplets concentrated in the surface of the cone is observed, and the spray cone angle, droplet sizes and their spatial locations in concerned region are obtained quantitativly. In the near region of the nozzle exit, droplets show greater SMD value, while at a certain distance from the nozzle, the droplets SMD differences become unconspicuous which shows a better atomization. These informations are helpful to understand characteristics of the centrifugal nozzle and offer a database for validating the spray simulation code.

Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the ozone treating effects on wool scales and wool fabrics mechanical property through experiments and observation. For this purpose, detailed investigations on the role of mechanical properties surfacing topography, changes in component and membrane structure were investigated. Then, a micro explanation was given to discuss the mechanism of wool shrinkage. Because scales are the necessary factor for shrinking, this study is of great significance to the work of shrinkproofing.

Abstract: This study has been carried out to investigate the influence of inclined angle of vee stiffener used on blast wall structure. In order to prevent the structural buckling, the vee stiffeners is employed and placed on the compressive region. A higher peak pressure was applied in order to investigate the buckling phenomena on the corrugated panel with vee stiffener. The inclined angle of vee stiffener was varied from 15° to 90°. The results show that an alteration of inclined angle has a considerable effect on the dynamic response of the blast wall structure, the deformed shape and the effectiveness of the stiffener due to the absorbed plastic strain energy. The best inclined angle of the vee stiffener is also determined.
