The Exploration of the Minimum Cross-Sectional Area which is the Important Parameters of Nodular Iron Casting Foundry Process Design

Abstract:

This paper describes the characteristics and shortcomings of several formulas about determining the smallest cross-sectional area in current production of nodular iron casting. Proposed a new calculate formula about minimum cross-sectional area of nodular iron casting. It is indicated being good reliability, scientific and applicability through many successful examples in production.
