Abstract: Mechanics models of RC(reinforced concrete) columns is established, after the limit state equation was formed, the failure modes of RC eccentric compression columns after high temperature is analyzed under considering various failure paths. Analysis results indicates that failure analysis is not safe under considering single failure mode, so comprehensive considering failure modes is more matching the true situation than only considering single factor when evaluate reliability of RC eccentric compression columns post-fire

Abstract: Many technical analysis use financial indices to predict stock price changes. In this paper, we present a different approach for prediction stock price fluctuations using financial news. Our method approaches the stock price prediction problem from an information retrieval perspective. We apply both text analysis and pattern classification techniques to search for important online news that are relevant for stock price changes. First, the online financial news and the corresponding stocks are extracted. Then we apply Support Vector Machine (SVM) to construct a model that predicts the price changes for the stocks. Finally, the stock changes prediction model is used to classify and extract upcoming important financial news. The experimental results demonstrate our method is effective for seeking the important financial news for stock price changes.

Abstract: Web service is a trend of new technology that it is able to support function to user over the internet. That is, user can operate and process the system, and set up values to the machine using the internet at the distance location. User doesn’t have to have any database for their works in the web service environment. Therefore, the development method has changing from traditional process, it needs mechanical parts with stand-only computer and no network, to service based system with network. In this paper, we propose a service component model for semiconductor test equipment, IC test handler. This model constructs to compose the software component, business logic, as a service.

Abstract: The paper presents an approach to model the electro-hydraulic system of a certain explosive mine sweeping device using the Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural network. In order to obtain accurate and simple RBF neural network, a revised clustering method is used to train the hidden node centers of the neural network, in which the subtractive clustering(SC) algorithm was used to determine the initial centers and the fuzzy C – Means(FCM) clustering algorithm to further determined the centers data set. The spread factors and the weights of the neural network are calculated by the modified recursive least squares (MRLS) algorithm for relieving computational burden. The proposed algorithm is verified by its application to the modeling of an electro-hydraulic system, simulation and experiment results clearly indicate the obtained RBF network can model the electro-hydraulic system satisfactorily and comparison results also show that the proposed algorithm performs better than the other methods.

Abstract: Systematic level design and optimization of a Radio Frequency (RF) receiver is a multi-dimensional problem and it is usually an arduous and experience-based work because of the trade-off between various system parameters. In the mean while, co-operated with Genetic Algorithm (GA) and local search, Memetic Algorithm (MA) gradually becomes popular to solve multi-dimensional optimization problems, and it can be an efficient method for computer-aided design of RF receivers. In this paper, the MA method was adopted to aid the design of a 5.8 GHz RF receiver front-end. The transfer function for the signal-to-noise ratio at the front-end output (SNRout) was first derived based on the gain, noise figure and inter-modulation product of each individual circuit component, and the transfer function was then used as the required fitness function for the MA method. The efficacy of the proposed method was validated by ADS simulations.

Abstract: This study describes a method to simulate cloth texture deformation using a neural network model. The cloth texture may be represented by its texture colors, positions and its topological structures. In addition, the relationship between the texture colors can be deduced based on the smooth texture and the two and three dimensional texture deformation are correspondingly concerned. A multilayered single direction neural network model is adopted to numerically represent the cloth texture for the purpose of speeding up the simulation. The color values of the points on the cloth deformed curved surface can be calculated with such neural network model. The experimental results show that such method is efficient and executable for the regularized texture deformation.

Abstract: A wet clutch pressure control system of dual clutch transmission was presented in this paper, and clutch pressure intelligent control arithmetic based on FCMAC(Fuzzy Cerebellar Model Articulation Controller) was designed to realize accracy control of clutch pressure. The intelligent control system was verified by experiment, and the rusults showed that the clutch intelligent control algorithm with FCMAC had good adaptive ability and high precision. It could meet the requirements of the clutch peressure contol of DCT.

Therefore the monitoring system to observe the system jam or problem is important factor. In this paper, we aim to develop monitoring system to watch the manufacturing system when it runs. Abstract: Due to the shortage of wood resource, manufacturers often use the wood raw materials mixed with softwood and hardwood. Rapid classification and ratio prediction of softwood and hardwood during processing is important to quality control. The feasibility on rapid classification of softwood and hardwood by near infrared spectroscopy (NIR) was investigated in this paper. The results showed that: 1) the classification accuracy of the calibration set samples was 100%. The correlation coefficient (r) between the NIR predicted and the true category variable value was 0.98~0.99 with low SEC of 0.06~0.11; 2) the classification accuracy to the unknown samples was 100%. It was suggested that near infrared spectroscopy can be used to rapidly and accurately classify softwood and hardwood samples.
