FEM Analysis of Composite Structures for Plate-Cone Reticulated Shell

Article Preview

Abstract:

Plate-cone reticulated shell is a new type of space structures with good mechanical behavior and technical economy. In this paper, the static characteristics for plate-cone reticulated shell are analyzed with Composite Structures FEM. Based on mechanical characteristics of plate-cone reticulated shell, three mechanical models are considered. A reasonable compute method for designing plate-cone reticulated shell working interactively is given, and a special computer program is developed.
