Abstract:

High and thin brick chimney in complex environment was successfully demolished by directional blasting. By accurate orientation by theodolite, symmetry directional opening window, used small cut length, lower cut position, appropriate cut height and rational blasting parameters, the chimney dumped accurately according to design direction and eliminate the recoil phenomenon effectively when it down. Sandbags wall putting on ground for reduce the impact of the vibration effect; strictly coverage of the incision position can stop the flying rock effectively.
