Abstract: The knee joint is a vulnerable joint that is easily injured. This is due in part to the fact that the joint is in the middle of two long lever-arms, the femur and the tibia. This makes the knee ligaments prone to injury from any strong contact to the knee, or sometimes even from just the force of the body moving through space with a hard muscle contraction. Simulation of ligament force in pitching motion of basketball player is studied in this paper.

Numerical Simulation and Analysis of 3-D Internal Flow Field in Mechanical Turbulent Coal Pulverizer
Abstract: In this paper, the computation fluid dynamics ( CFD) software FLUENT is applied to analyze the internal 3-D gas flow of the mechanical turbulent coal pulverizer impeller, especially on the pressure and velocity distribution. Eddy current-wake and secondary flow phenomenon is found in the pulverizer.

Abstract: In reverse engineering and rapid prototyping, several intermediate contours interpolated between adjacent two-layer ICT slice are needed to meet the requirement of rapid prototyping. A method of linear interpolation based on minimum distance is adopted in this paper. On the basis of the research on interpolation problem between single contours, some researches on the interpolation problem of multiply contours was done in this paper. Satisfactory results are attained by the experiments of a vehicle engine.

Abstract: In combination with a industrial plant cantilever structure need be increased for meeting the technological requirements,the three kinds of structural design schemes of cantilever are considered, that is the scheme hanging on steel frame of the plant, prestressed steel frame scheme and steel truss scheme. Three kinds of structural form and materials selection are introduced. By finite element software ANSYS three kinds of schemes are analyzed, carrying capacity and deflection of members under load are acquired, by Comparison steel truss scheme is adopted. Carrying capacity and deflection of structure not only meet requirements, but also the construction is easy. This paper provides reference for resolving similar cantileve r problems in engineering.

Abstract: The anti-cotunnite magnesium silicide was constructed, and its absorption coefficient, dielectric function and loss function have been investigated through the plane-wave pseudo- potential calculations based on the density functional theory. In our scheme, we consider the Mg2Si crystal without defects or cracks. Significant features have been observed for the optical properties in the low-energy region and the high-energy region. The main focus of this paper is to determine the high-pressure optical properties of Mg2Si and find out if this material can be used as high-performance thermoelectric devices.

Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency of measurement, total station data extraction and transmission system based on AutoCAD is designed and implemented by the secondary development of AutoCAD software in the paper. The system is composed by communication module, data conversion module, point-plotting module. The system connects with the total station and collects automatically data to extract useful data form initial data, then automatically calculates and stores the coordinates, taking Visual Basic.NET as the development platform to realize AutoCAD-based plotting and mapping. Test results show the system realizes the integration of internal and field operation and can reduce the workload of manual editing and error rate, so as to improve the efficiency of internal operation for measurement.

Abstract: In this paper, we present an oriented clonal selection algorithm (O-CLONALG) for mining association rules effectively for classification. Different with the traditional evolutionary algorithms, O-CLONALG firstly scans dataset one time to find the frequent rules with one item. The items are used to generate new rules and the mutation operation is limited in it. When mutation operation takes place, each rule in the same generation was added a new item. The results have shown that it is efficient in dealing with the problem on the complexity of the rule search space. At the same time, good classification accuracy has been achieved

Abstract: The two turbulence models were used to numerically simulate the external flow field around the Ahmed standard car model, and the aerodynamic drag and lift coefficients and aerodynamic characteristics around model were obtained. By comparison between the simulation results and the corresponding wind tunnel test data, the differences of two turbulence models were analyzed. The results indicated the simulation result of RNG k-εturbulence model is more precision, and it is more suitable on numerical simulation in vehicle external flow field. The conclusions provide reference for how to select turbulence model.
