Abstract: The recycling of waste is a worldwide development trends. The full use of all kinds of wastes in the material selection of the landscape design is the way that sustainable use of resources. The analysis of the status quo of material selection in landscape design, put forward use of waste types and specific design method, which plays an important role in the innovation and development of the landscape architecture industry.

Abstract: As there lacks color planning in the progress of construction in Tacheng, Xinjiang, based on the analysis of factors like climate, territorial environment, human environment and urban size, it summarizes that using cream-colored, white as basic color to control, using orange, ash green, shallow ash as auxiliary color, red, green, yellow as ornament color to plan and design the color of this city.

Abstract: Based on the comprehensive analysis on the functions, transportation organization relations, and behavior design of the revetments in Xiaoyi Relics Park, proposes the best ecological revetment design strategy for Relics Park in water-deficient cities under the Relics Park Protection Principle.

Abstract: The traditional farmhouse, surrounded by a bamboo enclosure is an important cultural feature of the landscape on the Lan-yang Plain. As traditional farmhouses surrounded by bamboo enclosures are gradually disappearing due to social and economic change in Taiwan, we resorted to using in-the-field surveys and analysis of aerial photographs as tools to explore the configuration and orientations of traditional farmhouse buildings and their enclosures. Our findings are to serve as reference for the promotion of future conservation and restoration projects. Our study found three components typical to the outdoor space arrangement of farmhouses surrounded by bamboo enclosures: a bamboo enclosure area that completely encloses the property, a main courtyard area and a side/backyard area. The most common orientation of the bamboo enclosure was with the opening to the enclosure facing southwest and the rear facing northeast, protecting the building and space from the colder northeastern winds and rains. It is the combination of climate conditions, agricultural activities and the farming life-style that created this unique configuration of building and bamboo buffer that is visible throughout the Lan-Yang Plain.

Abstract: The dual property of the "horizontal" and "vertical" distribution characterizes the urban green space landscape, accordingly, at the demand of the service function of the green ecosystem, with elaboration of the issues concerning regulation target of the urban green space landscape, and based on the integration of the landscape patterning and quantity of the green, the regulation system of the urban green space landscape has been established; on the macro-meso-micro-scale respectively, regulating measures and countermeasures of the patterning of the landscape of urban green space and quantity of green has been proposed.

Abstract: Based on the adaptation of the linguistics and information dissemination concept, the process and control points of the semantic generation and communication in the landscape design are interpreted profoundly. Moreover it is pointed out that the semantic conveying mechanism is crucial to improve the aesthetic value of the landscape works as well as to promote the Pluralism and extensibility of the analysis under the overall context, combining with the case study of the landscape design.

Abstract: The classical Chinese garden art is the important heritage of the human culture. It is widely recognized as the mother of garden of the world, and one of the wonders of the world. This article will analyses the application of the aesthetics thinking on the Chinese Garden from the perspectives such as the aesthetic whole, the five coordinate elements, the spirit and the rhythm move, etc.

Abstract: The article aimed at the problems in the spatial scale occurred in the process of the fusion of elevated rail transit line and city space. Study on D/H for each spatial dimension of the overhead line and city space convergence. Use theoretical analysis methods from the perspective of characteristics and double scales. The results show that the elevated rail transit line height scale range for 6.5m-8m，the suitability D / H is between 2-3 for overhead line and road with typical street section, and space near the elevated line should be carried out in details in the elevation below 12m.

Abstract: The Landscape transformation of Hainan Normal University regarding South Campus as a starting point was analyzed. Through the evaluation of the status of the location conditions, natural resources, and cultural background; the problems of the geographical features in the building of the campus landscape culture and the fusion of geographical elements and modern campus environment were explored. It provided an idea for the landscape transformation between the old campus and new campus landscape planning. Continuity, regional, international and ecological idea was considered to design and explore the major cultural landscape and node plan.
