Abstract: The paper is to study five elements conception and the basic theory of the plants field. From the perspective of the convalescent health, the paper discussed the construction ways and methods of ecological convalescent health plants field from the phytoncidere field, plants color field and plants form field through the five elements directions and relationship, by making use of the special properties of plant-made field. Then, the arrangement ways of five elements plants field, the selection of essence plants and the collocation of five elements on landscaping are also studied by a case study.

The idea will apply to Shanghai Hangtouyuli village.

Abstract: Theme Garden is an important position of scientific research and popular science education and germplasm resources protection, is also a places to residents leisure and edify sentiment. Experience design is to provide a richer experience of life. To Changsha cuckoo theme garden for example, this paper analyzed the field of building and terrain and water and plant, combined with a rich of wild cuckoo varieties and the features in Hunan, thawed experience design into cuckoo theme garden. The cuckoo theme garden was divided planting show, including evergreen cuckoo region, wild cuckoo recreation region and special and rare cuckoo conservation region. And set places to culture and popular science and leisure, to create experience mainly of cuckoo theme garden.

Abstract: The design mode of urban Brownfiels-scape reconstruction is classified into five kinds, which are ecological preservative design mode, ecological recovering design mode, ecological functional design mode, ecological visible design mode, ecological artistical design mode. The paper overall analyses and contrasts of the characteristics, design methods, persons’ participation degree and typical cases of these modes.

Abstract: Based on analyzing the psychology reception of informants for external space of hospital, a novel landscape quantitative evaluation method was proposed in this study. An external space of hospital was selected and researched for illustrated the proposed method. After investigating the psychology reception from informants, Kansei words were designated. Then, a model and a quantify analysis were carried out. Next, according to quantify analysis results, the external space of hospital was evaluated objectively. This study resolved the traditional concept that landscape evaluation owing to feelings. Therefore, this study has a big significant on providing more theoretical research and design methods for not only external space of hospital but even of urban green space design in future.

Abstract: The trees, shrubs ,vines and grass form the plant landscaping. They make the landscape full of colors and depict a beautiful picture coupling with the surrounding environment for people to enjoy. In this paper, We studied the spatial analysis of plant landscape of the Quyuan-Fenghe Park, which located in the Lake West of Hangzhou and composed of flowers, bridges, lawns, pavilions and trees. This research demonstrated how to use plants to create a different space.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the aesthetic characters of traditional religious and cultural, as well as traditional culture and landscape design combination. It is suggested that we can learn from the aesthetic values of traditional culture to guide the current landscape design, and try to propose several possible technical solutions.

Abstract: The investigation into the bottom surface, side surface and top surface of settlement landscape in the ancient Xianshi Town, has been conducted in the presented work. Specially, the configuration principles of bottom surface, which use the steps, ramps as well as other optimized skills to adapt to local mountainous environment, scale and construction techniques of side surface, components and configuration principles of top surface are elaborated. The result shows that surface of settlement landscape in the ancient Xianshi Town adopted “big eave, small patio, steep slope, cold paving tile, wide doors and windows” and other geographical features, presenting multi-level visual imagery of mountainous settlement landscape.
