Abstract:

Analyzing the insufficiency of research on the Level of Service(LOS) of the urban expressway interchanges in China, Building an evaluation index system of Level of Service (LOS) based on field data, which takes relative delay as quantitative index based on the hypostasis of LOS, it is the ration between the difference of actual time and free time and the free time, setting up the theoretic calculating models of the free driving time and the actual driving time on urban expressway cloverleaf interchanges, then the relative delay can be calculated.
