Abstract: This article proposes a simulate-based model that explains urban eco-environment change through zoning control tools. It readjusts some items of zoning control, such as building coverage ratio, green plot ratio, and water areas ratio, then simulates its effect for local climate indicator, hydrology indicator, carbon storage and sequestration, biodiversity indicator etc. The results showed that the greatest influence on ecological performance was increasing green plot ratios, and it also has a multiple effect when particularly use cumulative methods.

Abstract: Complicated industrial processes are generally characterized by being multivariable, non-linearity, severe coupling, large-time delay and time-variance. As such, it is difficult to achieve a satisfactory performance using a conventional control method. In this paper, an intelligent multivariable decision-making system for mineral grinding process control is proposed with the case-based reasoning (CBR). This intelligent decision system can auto-adjust the set-points of the process controllers according to the operational conditions. As long as the process control system tracks their adjusted set-points, the closed-loop control of grinding particle size is achieved. The industrial application in a mineral processing plant shows the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Abstract: The warship equipment maintenance support system is a complex system, which has uncertainty. Aimed at uncertain support scheme, the equipment maintenance support simulation experiment (EMSSE) is a method based on exploratory analysis (EA) and simulation. According to the characters of EA and the demand of EMSSE planning, an experiment framework (EF) based on EMSSE was put forward a experiment framework (EF) which makes the problem solved more flexibly because of being independent of the simulation model,, and the content was analyzed in detail. Finally, an example of warship maintenance support is introduced to explain application of EF and validate it feasible.

Abstract: Spare part is important source in the warship maintenance support process. The spare part logistic support is a interactional course supporting the complex and dynamic warship maintenance by organizing different echelon logistic network including maintenance units, storehouse, transport unit, and so on. Based on the analysis of complex logistic support simulation system on warship spare part, the UML model of system design was built up to provide a common modeling method for the development of simulation system, which includes the use-case diagram, the entity collaboration diagram, class diagram, state diagram and interaction sequence diagram. According to the designed UML models, it has better effect on warship maintenance that the logistic support simulation system on anti-mine warship spare part was designed and realized based on HLA technique..

Abstract: An algorithm is described which simulates atmospheric phase screen (PS) distorted by von Karman atmospheric turbulence by using Zernike expansion of randomly weighted Karhunen-Loeve function. The statistics of the PS generated by using power spectrum method which is most commonly used for generating PS poorly match up with the theoretical structure function, especially at low spatial frequency, while the algorithm described in the this paper can compensate for this shortcoming. And the accuracy of the PS is verified by comparing with the theoretical results. Furthermore, comparing with the existed methods which also use the Zernike expansion to simulate PS, algorithm presented in this paper is more accurate because the effects of the finite outer scale L0.is included

Abstract: Virtual reality based visual interactive simulation system is proposed and completed, which applied integrated intelligent control to ship steering and main engine. For the multipoint communication of the proposed distributed visual simulation system, a DCOM based communication model is discussed. The group communications is divided into three layers from bottom to top. Based on static and dynamic combined algorithm, a dispatcher using centrality load balancing is also presented.

Abstract: Models of Computer Network Anti-collision can’t be used in the area of RFID Anti-collision Algorithm, because the limit of tag’s structure. The paper discusses the anti-collision model of computer network----Token Ring Network Model, which lets the orthogonal codes act as token, proposed a strategy for RFID Anti-collision. Currently, the popular RFID Anti-collision Algorithms are based on the idea of random access, when collision happens, the reader tells the collision tags to send ID, waiting for any time. When the number of tag is large, two or more tags will be waiting for the same random time, then collision will be happen again, the contents of this paper can effectively solve these problems.

Abstract: This work proposes a robust scheme to automatically tracking and counting cars in the traffic surveillance. In the proposed method, pixels at a specific position of successive image frames are first processed by the modified iterative threshold selection technique to establish the background model. Second, an original image is subtracted by this background to obtain a difference image that is performed with the differential image between an original image and its precedent neighboring image to yield an image with initial contour points of moving objects. Third, the robust edge-following scheme manipulates these contour points to produce closed-form objects. Particularly, two headlights of a car are merged with their corresponding reflective lights on the ground to yield two light objects for a car extraction at night. As compared to the conventional methods, the proposed method is demonstrated to have the best accuracy of moving object extraction. Finally, object motion connection is effectively employed to track object paths and compute the number of moving cars. The practical implementation reveals that the proposed method can precisely and reliably estimate a traffic amount.

Abstract: A new method for photoelectric device simulation has been developed in our open source software “A Two-Dimensional General Purpose Semiconductor Simulator (GSS)”. Rigorous distribution of incident light in photoelectric device has been obtained by solving Helmholtz equation using finite element method (FEM) with uniaxial perfectly matched layer (UPML) as absorbing boundary. Optical carrier generation ratio has been calculated according to the conversation of energy law. Optical carrier generation ratio and I-V curve of a photoconductive diode induced by continuous wave laser are presented. Analysis shows that optical carrier generation calculated in GSS is more reasonable and I-V curve calculated in GSS agrees well with Medici’s.

Abstract: According to the work flow of injection molding machines and the actual needs of remote monitoring, a remote monitoring and control solution for injection molding machine based on optical fiber communication is proposed in this paper. A kind of data acquisition hardware and software is designed and a remote monitoring and control system for injection molding machines based on optical fiber communications is built on this basis. This system can effectively improve the production efficiency of production enterprises.
