Abstract: Palmprint recognition for identification provides a new scheme for information security. This paper presents a block statistic method based on high frequency coefficients under wavelet transform for palmprint identification. Firstly, the method decomposes region of interest (ROI) of the palmprint with the wavelet transform. Then it blocks the high-frequency sub-image. The mean and the variance for each sub-block are found. All the means and the variances constitute feature vector for the image. At last the nearest neighbor classifier is used to classify the images. The method was tested on the basis of UST palmprint image database. From the experimental results, the method can satisfy the uses without excessive demands for collection images.

Abstract: The performance of airplane in commercial airline environment is determined by, and therefore an indicator of performance measure of, the thermodynamic properties of airplane. The aim of this study was to establish the use of simulators to determine aircraft accident for a flight of airplanes and evaluate the potential of new airspace structure and airport’s runway. This indicates that there is a possibility of obtaining airplane performance from analysis and verification simulating airplane. As compared with AIRBUS Full Flight Simulator, a multiple aircrafts flight simulator that grouping aircrafts simultaneously take off and land was presented, which is basis on a parallel distributed computing in Open Grid Computing Environment (OGCE), and service oriented architecture (SOA) of software in multiple aircraft simulator, the performance of collaborative flight of multiple aircrafts is evaluated.

Abstract: This paper introduces a new four-dimensional chaos system which is generated by modifying Lorenz chaos system. Some basic dynamical properties are studied. Based on projective synchronization method, dislocated projective synchronization method is presented to achieve synchronization of the new four dimensional chaos system. Numerical simulations are given to show the effectiveness of this method.

Abstract: There are some methods such as mutual information, alignment metric and so on. But they aim at registration of multi-modal images whose sizes are same. And there are few researches on registration of multi-modal images whose sizes are different. In this paper, an automatic registration method for multi-modal images based on alignment metric is proposed. In order to look for the best registration location of two multi-modal images, genetic algorithm is used in the method for iterative search. Alignment metric is used as the fitness function of genetic algorithm. It is proved that automatic registration for multi-modal images of different sizes can be realized. And it has high accuracy and robustness.

Abstract: A novel control scheme based on an improved RBF neural network and PID control method is proposed. When used the RBF network in the PID controller, if RBF network provides the parameter to revise PID while it does not have training finished, the controller will oscillated or even to diverge. As the structure is more complex, and the adjustment speed is slower, the improvements are made to the standard RBF neural network trained algorithm. Uses the matrix operation substitute the iterative algorithm, may avoid the above question effectively. Finally, choosing a certain type of PID controller, the improved RBF neural network algorithm is used to design the control law for control command tracking, the simulation results show that the improved RBF neural network algorithm can avoid oscillated and diverge.

Abstract: Chaos control is to adjust the chose system to the desired orbit through the tiny disturbance by using the extreme sensitivity and ergodicity. In this paper we improved the OGY method with multistep targeting. The result is more superior than the OGY method, even superior than the chaotic targeting.

Abstract: According to the simplified circuit partitioning principle, this paper improves the Modified Nodal Analysis(MNA) of wideband Equivalent Circuit Model(ECM). The form of upconversion impedance is transformed from series into parallel. The results show that in the parallel form, the verification process of impedance type has been eliminated and it will not introduce new nodes. At the same time, the amount of computation has been reduced. The maximum relative error of measured data with this model fit is less than 0.693%. The simulation results and ECM test data are consistent with better at 0 to 8GHz frequency range.

Abstract: According to the characteristic of out-water movement of submarine-launched missile, a mathematical model was developed. Then a simulation model was established in Matlab/simulink environment based on the mathematical model, and the simulation was made. The result of the simulation shows that the simulation model can describe the submarine missile out-water movement perfectly, and the study may provide powerful base to the submarine missile trajectory design.

Abstract: Precise navigation and localization of the autonomous rover in unknown environment is important both for its own safety as well as for its ability to accomplish engineering and scientific objectives. In order to navigation autonomously the rover should have the ability of apperceiving the environment and avoiding the obstacles. Laser range finder is used to rebuild the environment and fuzzy reasoning method is used to avoid obstacles. Most importantly the rover process the sensor data to produce an estimate of its position while concurrently building a map of the environment. The improved filter algorithm is proposed to make the method feasible.
