Abstract: In view of the need of automation and informatization in water-saving irrigation, the development in short message remote control system for automatic irrigation is carried on based on SMS via communication network. According to the remote control information received by SMS (the opening and closing commands of the valves, remote irrigation inquiry commands, etc), binary codes needed by the terminal unit are generated by the remote control system to perform irrigation control or state inquiry. The information fed back by the system is firstly processed into PDU strings that conform to the format of SMS, and then are transmitted to the client (mobile phone, computer, etc) by a wireless transmission module through communication network to display the executing state in the field and the inquiry results of the system. With its stability in running, convenience in operation and being workable in use, this system is suitable for wide application in large areas.

Abstract: For shape error analysis and correction of micro-structure in lithography, image edges should be extracted from micrographs of the structures. First several basic image edge detection algorithms are analyzed and compared. Then according to the unique conditions of micrographs in lithography experiments, an improved image edge extraction method is investigated. In this method Canny operator is selected as a basic algorithm, while the mathematical morphology is used in pre-processing for de-noising to reduce the uneven phenomenon. And an appropriate enhancement algorithm is used to enhance image contrast. Experimental results show that this method can extract the image edge from the micro-structure graphs effectively.

Abstract: There are many coal mines in China, the gas disaster occurred every year with the same time. The dream of many scientists is able to design a set of accurate forecasts of gas monitoring system. We begin with the technology of ZigBee wireless networking, and we apply it to the gas monitoring system. We designed a gas monitoring system based on wireless network technology, and given the specific design methods, and detailed the process of building.

Abstract: A monitoring and alarm system of colliery gas has been designed with DSP technology. It has been simulated with CCS. The simulation results have shown that this system can realize the real-time on-line monitoring of the colliery gas concentration and auto-alarm when the concentration overruns.

Abstract: This article describes the design of the long-distance pipeline system, then gives out the overall framework of the remote monitoring system consisting of server and client machine, the serial communication program design methods, and the functional modules of the client machine. After analyzing the pipeline simulation model the conclusion is made.

Abstract: We present a discriminative learning method for human action recognition from video sequences. Our model combines a bag-of-words component with supervised latent topic models. The supervised latent Dirichlet allocation (sLDA) topic model, which employs discriminative learning using labeled data under a generative framework, is introduced to discover the latent topic structure which is most relevant to action categorization. We test our algorithm on two challenging datasets. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our algorithm.

Abstract: This paper introduces one design method of embedded digital oscilloscope based on STM32 and μC/OS-II. The hardware adopts STM32 and the custom data buffer to realize the 2 channel data synchronizations. The software uses the μC/OS-II platform to realize the multi-duty movement and the real-time processing. The test indicates that this embedded digital oscilloscope supports 2 channel inputs and the sampling frequency scope is 25Hz to 10MHz. Its input voltage is -3.6 V to +3.6 V and it has good man-machine interaction contact surface.

Abstract: Scintillations are caused by ionospheric plasma-density irregularities and can lead to signal power fading, loss of lock of the carrier tracking loop in the GPS receiver. The traditional method of monitoring and mitigating scintillation is to transform commercial GPS receiver with modified hardware and embedded software. To better facilitate advance development GPS receiver under different condition, GPS software scintillation receiver is designed in this paper. The hardware scheme of high-speed GPS signal acquisition system is first discussed and implemented with FPGA and DSP architecture. Then, we describe receiver software processing algorithm, particularly the portion involving the scintillation signal acquisition and tracking, ionospheric scintillation index extracting and scintillation monitoring. The performance of software receiver is demonstrated under scintillation conditions. Relevant results show that software-receiver based approach can avoid weak signal loss and extract effectively ionospheric scintillation parameter compared with the traditional extracting method. Software receiver is suitable and reliable for the ionospheric scintillations monitoring, and can provide theoretical foundations and experimental preparations for future scintillation studies implemented with Chinese indigenous BeiDou-Ⅱ navigation and poisoning system.
