Based on the Force Characteristic Curve to Analysis Power Steering Gear Performance

Article Preview

Abstract:

Force characteristic curve is the most important item in the power steering gear performance measurement. Problems such as unsmooth force characteristic curve, output under the design requirements, bad symmetric degree, and etc. occur commonly in this measurement. The analysis of the Force Characteristic Curve shows that the unsmooth of the force characteristic curve is resulted from the abrupt changing of torque, and that the bad symmetric degree of the curve is resulted commonly from the non-uniformity of the slot opening of the input shaft and the valve sleeve and errors of the pin of the adjusting valve
