Abstract: Based on cost effectiveness, environmental impact, energy savings, and shortages of quality materials, reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) used for pavement construction does not only reduce aggregate need, but it also solves the problem of RAP disposal. Thus, the technology of cold mix recycling for pavement sub-base and base is introduced and tested in laboratory. The test results show that the recycled cold mix is a candidate material for pavement sub-base and base layer use. However, cold-mix emulsion asphalt used for recycling must be designed properly to ensure reliable performance. The unique features of recycled cold mixes are time temperature effects.

Abstract: In this paper, we combine villa in comparing low temperature solar water for floor heating with regular heating sources. In the end, this paper analysis the economization and conservation benefit of solar heating system and domestic hot water. The best scheme of villa is solar system combining centralizing hearing.

Abstract: CO2 emission performance and reduction potential indicators are proposed in this paper by environmental production technology under total-factor framework. Based on this, we give an empirical research on 49 world major emitting countries from 2001 to 2007. The result shows: the average performance of all countries only has very small fluctuation, staying at 0.65 to 0.67; America and Europe’s performance is relatively high and Asia is the lowest but its gap with other countries is shrinking. Now CO2 emission reduction potential has shown an up-trend year by year in these countries, especially for China, India and Japan in Asia.

Abstract: Rankine cycles using organic working fluids are widely believed feasible in recovering low enthalpy-containing heat. Through the analysis, the enthalpy difference, the dryness of inlet wet steam and evaporating and condensing temperature have significant influence on the energy conversion efficiency. The power output also relies on the specific volume and latent heat, which determine the mass flow rate. The results serve good guideline for experiments and systematic optimization.

Abstract: Passive solar energy utilization of rural house is simple to apply, easy to operate, suiting for our country current rural house design conditions in the cold areas. It has great significance to take the appropriate strategy of passive solar energy utilization, according to local conditions and times, the climatic characteristics and level of technology of the cold areas. This paper discussed the layout, collection of solar energy, utilization of solar energy and other aspects of contents, pointing out that the significance of the passive solar energy utilization of rural house is not merely to reduce energy consumption, more importantly, it adopted the environmental passive strategy, interpreted the relationship between man and nature, architecture and nature from a new aspect.

Abstract: As liaisons between “green spots” and “green areas”, road green space in unban play a decisive role on the improvement of urban style. In this thesis, AHP is applied in the comprehensive evaluation and hierarchical classification to the 198 types of garden plants in Longyan city. Based on evaluation results and the hierarchical classification, in the light of the characteristics of road planting and the present situation of Longyan, this thesis identifies the fundamental key tree species and backbone tree species of the unban road green space in Longyan to make contributions to the planning of tree species in Longyan.

Abstract: A model to calculate daily shading factor of flat-plate solar collector array installed on the limited horizontal roofs has been developed. The relations between the latitude, the average daily shading factor, the floor area, and the aspect ratio of the collector array have been deeply studied. The results show that the average daily shading factor on winter solstice day increases with the increase of the latitude and aspect ratio. For a given latitude, the average daily shading factor of a collector array (floor area ≥ 500 m 2) increases linearly with the increase in the aspect ratio within a range of [1/10, 3/1] and increases smoothly with the aspect ratio ranging from 3/1 to 10/1. The average daily shading factors do not exceed 0.085 for the low latitude regions (lat. ≤ 30o N), whereas the maximum average daily shading factors for a 1000m 2 collector array can reach 0.140 when the latitude is close to 40o N.

Abstract: Fanger’s PMV is the most famous thermal sensation index but it is too complex to be applied in practice. Besides, the PMV index does not include the effect of hourly solar radiation on the indoor thermal climate. In order to obtain simple and applicable correlations with considerations of outdoor hourly solar radiation, a one-year measurement was performed in a naturally ventilated residential room in Qujing Normal University of Yunnan province, China. PMV indices are calculated by using Newton’s iterative method based on the collected data. Correlations of the PMV and the environmental parameters (outdoor air temperature, indoor air temperature, mean radiant temperature, wind velocity, relative humidity, hourly beam radiation and hourly diffuse radiation) have been developed by the multivariable regression technique. It is convenient to use them to predict the indoor thermal comfort in the subtropical plateau monsoon climate.
