Expansive Soil Damage to Buildings and the Treatment Methods in Jijie

Abstract:

By means of field sampling , laboratory test , field survey and data collection methods. The characteristics of expansive soil were studied. After analyzing the reasons for deformation and failure of expansive soil to buildings, effective treatment methods were put forward. Under the extreme drought climate condition, the buried depth of the foundation should be appropriately increased.
