Dynamic Mechanical Behavior Study for the Fabricated Composite with High Anti-Corrosion Properties

Article Preview

Abstract:

Composite, with both sides deposited by pure aluminum (Al) thin films to improve its anti-corrosion properties, is designed and fabricated in this study through thermo-mechanical processing techniques. Manufactured composite here mainly consists of polyester textile and PET thin films. Mechanical tests are carried out to study the dynamic mechanical behaviors of the fabricated composites under various loading rates. Our works reveal that proper bonding material and appropriate processing are key and essential in order to fully make use of the excellent mechanical properties of polyester textile in the composite.
