Abstract. Landscape design is a kind of constructive activities to show the regional outdoor space feature. It reflects the cultural and natural value in an certain area. With 2011 Xi’an International Horticultural Exposition for example, it discusses a design method which is combine with the site feature, rely on the regional culture and reproduce the regional characteristics. Through the landscape practical activity, people can feel a special regional landscape and understand the typical regional landscape.
