The Research for Vertical Interface of Architecture Landscape

Abstract:

Abstract: this paper starts the research with comparison and analysis for correlative conceptions in the field of architecture landscape. For the most important and active sight element –- non-level sight element, the author reasoningly clarifies them according to the conceptions of architecture interface. This paper analyses and diagrammatizes the sight characteristic of vertical interface of architecture landscape and people’s activity characteristic in the architecture landscape space defined by vertical interface, and regards them as formal language between people and environment. Then the paper begins a discussion for the issues of vertical interface of architecture. This analysis based on the theory of building typology, and starts from investigating for instances.
