Abstract:

Building Construction is a course, which has a close tie with building design and also involves a considerably wide range of professional knowledge. For various reasons, it is greatly difficult for teachers to teach this course well, and also the ability of students to practically apply it is poor. After years of teaching practice, several main reasons for the problem are found. Therefore, "practice-based design" is introduced to the teaching of this course for strengthening practical teaching and improving the ability of students in practical application. Through a stage of teaching reform, a conclusion is drawn up on the results in this paper.
