Simulation Environment for Dangerous Chemicals Transportation

Article Preview

Abstract:

Aimed at the disadvantages of real test method for micro system, a simulation environment for dangerous chemicals transportation is developed. This simulation environment is based on the motion simulation platform, which is a kind of Hexaglide operation platform and has a total of 8 dof. With the motion simulation platform and the simulation environment, the motion parameters such as attitude, angular rate, velocity and acceleration and the environment parameters such as temperature, humidity, concentration of combustible gas, the inner pressure and liquid level of tank are measured by micro system and standard sensors simultaneously. With the comparison of test data, the micro system can be validated. In this paper, the structure of motion simulation platform is presented; the hardware structure and integration are described respectively; the software of simulation environment is introduced and some experiment results are shown.
