Design of Profibus-DP Slave Station Based on DPRAM

Abstract:

Profibus-DP fieldbus has been the research focus in the field of industrial automation and control, and there’re kinds of relevant products. The slave station, one of the products used in connecting the master station and the industrial units like frequency converter, sensor and meter and so on, is the key technology now researched. A design of Profibus-DP slave station based on DPRAM is proposed in this paper. First, a overall design of hardware for the slave station is showed. Then, the design for the core module of the slave station and the user interface are mainly expounded. In the end, the design of the software for the slave station is proposed, and the connection between the industrial units and the Profibus-DP master station is realized.
