Abstract: This paper designs and develops a tool for detecting HABS from ENVI+IDL+ArcEngine. With a friendly and artistic interface offered by third party control, this tool provides a function of HABs monitoring in East China Sea via Remote Sensing Images inversion. Through rows of buttons on the menu bar, this tool allows calculating spectrum reflectance, browsing field work data, interpolating in situ measurement data, retrieving water property parameters, and detecting HABs position by the threshold of chlorophyll-a and sea surface temperature. Data management module programmed in Structured Query Language (SQL) in our tool simplifies the data process and stores a large amount of information. This paper elaborates the original design, functional modules, and multi data sources that gives a general view toward this tool.

Abstract: High-rise building deep foundation pits affect the peripheral physiognomy deformations directly, and brings serious hidden danger.deformation monitoring on supporting structure of deep foundation pits engineering is an effective means of construction safety warning. Three-dimensional coordinates of observation points can be available by GPS high precision positioning, and it is easier to realize of continuous, real-time and automatic monitoring than conventional observation methods.

Abstract: Parallel computing technology has been widely used to process massive remote sensing data high efficiently. In order to simplify the development of remote sensing data parallel processing system and consider about the characteristics of remote sensing data pre-processing, this paper designs a cluster-based universal parallel processing framework. The framework encapsulates parallel job scheduling and management, adapts the strategy of components development, provides the simple interface for the users to develop new functionalities by adding new data-processing components into the framework. Basing on Message Passing Interface (MPI), the framework is implemented. Experiments, such as adding remote sensing data extracting, radiometric correction and geometric correction into the framework, show that the framework performed well in computing efficiency and speedup rate.

Abstract: The correct analysis of power spectrum density is very critical when assessing the radio frequency compatibility among GPS, Galileo and BD. Among a number of papers on this research, some, however, ignore the fact that short-code would produce line spectrum, and some present derivation results with errors. The above problems, instead, are given close attention by this paper. The paper firstly analyzes the characteristics of power spectral densities of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) baseband signals, taking into account the real properties of the signals, such as code length, data rate, code chipping rate and characteristics of spreading code. And then it presents the detail derivation process. To verify the correctness of its results, GPS C/A code signal is taken as an example. The simulation of this research produces three results that include the line spectrum, real PSD and the spectral separation coefficient of C/A code in different data symbol period. It is concluded that the derivation results prove to be correct, and the data symbol period should be regarded as an important parameter of short code when assessing the radio frequency compatibility.

Abstract: The manufacture and assembly accuracy of the HSK taper inspection gauge directly influences the measurement precision. Take the large taper measuring head of the HSK-A63 taper inspection gauge as the research object, analyzed the measurement errors caused by its mounting position deviations, obtained corresponding formulas. Based on the structure of the inspection gauge and the moderate accuracy required by machinery manufacture and mechanical assembly, assigned value for each parameter, and the specific measurement errors were calculated. Guiding suggestions for the manufacture and assembly of the HSK taper inspection gauge were proposed.

Abstract: A mechanical test system for large-scale structures in the field environment of low temperature was developed. The system consists mainly of the mobile-laboratory cabin, the electrometric-instrument system and the power supply system. After the completion of the present system, large-scale structures such as tall buildings , bridges and dams can investigate easily the behaviors subjected by exterior loads in the low-temperature condition.

Abstract: Monitoring of deformation of structure in large scale in situ is introduced. The steel roof of football stadium Slavia in Prague is a new progressive structure. Realization of the stadium roof was changed over the project, so it was necessary to verify the rigidity of the steel structure in horizontal direction. The experimental investigation was repeatedly conducted in three different stress levels and than monitoring of behaviour of the individual structural elements of the steel structure was compared with the numerical analysis.

Abstract: The dynamic position variables of large-diameter rotary shaft are not easy to measure precisely or cheaply, however, the accuracy of dynamic position is of great significance to the movement controlling of key rotary shaft. In this paper, a novel real-time detection method is presented, which can be used to estimate the dynamic position of the large-diameter rotary shaft rotating with constant velocity, constant acceleration or variable acceleration. In order to estimate the position variables, multi-sensor information fusion algorithm based on adaptive fading Kalman filter (MIFA-AFKF), which combines conventional information fusion algorithm with an adaptive fading factor, is proposed to fuse multi grating-sensor information. The method based on MIFA-AFKF is demonstrated by Monte Carlo simulation, and also used to measure the angle position of the hollow shaft at the machine head and machine tail of a horizontal riveting machine. The two results show that the algorithm can significantly improve the dynamic position accuracy.

Abstract: In order to study the machinability of gray cast iron, the cutting force must be precision measure. An improving measurement based on strain gauge dynamometer has been proposed in this paper, the measurement changed the traditional calibration method of strain gauge dynamometer. A set of new calibration device have been designed. Use the device, the process of calibration could be made after the strain-gauge dynamometer for cutting force measuring fixed on lathe, in this way, the states of calibration and measuring in experiment achieved same, and the error of measuring which had been begot by the differ states of calibration and measuring could be eliminated. The results of experiment show that the method presented in this paper achieved high precision and low cost cutting force measuring, and the results of cutting force measuring could be used for estimating machinability of gray cast iron.
