Abstract: This paper proposes a multi-channel video signal switch system. The authors introduce a key technology which uses AD8108/AD8109 as switching devices, micro-controller LPC2214ARM as the control unit to form a multi-channel video switch. Firstly, this paper analyzes the working principle of AD8108/AD8109 and LPC2214. Then the authors give the hardware structure of the multi-channel video switch system, and the software design of the system. Finally, this paper puts forward the key issues to the switch of the multi-channel video signal after experiments. Facts have shown that these factors must be taken into account in the design of successful video signal switch systems.

Abstract: A 10Gbit/s burst-mode transimpedance preamplifier is described. Regulated cascade (RGC) TIA core with variable gain, fast response peak detector, single-to-differential and output buffer are included, providing auto-gain-control and threshold extraction functions. The burst-mode preamplifier is implemented by 0.13µm CMOS technology, presents a high gain of 67.9dB with a 3-dB bandwidth of 6.92GHz and a low gain of 57.4dB with a 3-dB bandwidth of 8.60GHz with a settling time less than 20ns.

Abstract: To meet the requirements of smart substations for digital information, integrated functions and compact structure, the definitions of merging units in IEC 60044-8 and IEC 61850-9-1/2 were analyzed. Based on the analysis, this paper described a realization of merging units used in the electronic transformers. The hardware and software architectures of merging unit were proposed. According to the design, the merging unit realizes synchronization of sampling pulse, receiving and processing of sampled values, and data transmission. An additional function of phasor measurement was included, which makes it a synthesized device between the process level and the bay level of the digital substation. The data packets were captured and analyzed by Wireshark, corresponding with IEC 61850-9-2, which demonstrates the high flexibility and utility value of the merging unit.

Abstract: In order to meet the demand of remote monitoring, this paper introduces a method of realizing remote monitoring based on mobile network and embedded system. Related key technologies include building remote monitoring terminal, sending and receiving of SMS, making and sending of MMS. By using S3C6410 hardware platform and Linux OS, as well as GPRS module, and developing phone specific program and interface in control terminal. Users can control and monitor the equipments and working condition in remote terminal or dangerous areas, and query their video images and abnormity information by sending phone SMS or clicking on developed phone interface buttons easily and conveniently.

Abstract: This article introduces a SDRAM controller based on FPGA. It describes the architecture of controller and takes explain for each module .There is also a timing analysis about data communication between FPGA and SDRAM before post-simulation. Through board verification , a burst mode with auto precharge and full-page mode without auto precharge are achieved and the highest bandwidth in each mode are listed.

Abstract: Currently integrated network controller could implement data transmission through Internet. But commonly they have higher power consumption, fewer channels which could not be changed and less TCP/IP connection. A remote data acquisition technology based on embedded real-time operating system RT-Thread is presented in this paper. Server and client were constructed respectively according to TCP/IP protocol stack provided by operating system itself. Hardware circuit was centered with large capacity enhanced MCU named STM32F103ZET6. Ethernet interface chip DM9000AEP and network connection HR911105A were applied in our system. Socket API interface functions provided by RT-Thread were utilized in client and server software programs. Experimental results show that this system needs less hardware sources to implement more TCP/IP connections during remote data acquisition process.

Abstract: With the development of information technology, the concept of “Digital Forestry” is put forward. To improve the level of forestry information management, 3S technology is used in forestry. Therefore the embedded system of forest resource information acquisition has designed which integrated embedded technology with GIS, 3G wireless communication technology and GPS. Specifically, the requirement of forestry resource survey has been analyzed, the whole structure has been established and the system has been developed by using the advanced demo-board OMAP3530.The embedded system can realize six functions including system login, data acquisition, data management, map operation, GPS positioning and navigation, temperature and humidity measuring. It can enhance working efficiency, reduce power consumption and get real-time data. The embedded system of forest resource information acquisition has been verified in Lianyungang Xinpu district forest, which gives a good guide to forestry management.

Abstract: Multicore processors are increasingly used in real-time embedded systems. Better utilization of hard real-time systems requires accurate scheduling and synchronization analysis. In this paper, we characterize the major synchronization penalties arising from partitioned fixed priority scheduling for hard real-time tasks on multicore platform, including transitive remote preemption, multiple remote blocking, and multiple priority inversions. Subsequently, we propose a new response time analysis by improving the approach to bound task blocking time. The key idea of this approach is to classify the total blocking time into (i) direct blocking, including local and remote blocking, and transitive remote preemption; and (ii) multiple local interference which is incurred by multiple priority inversion. Simulation results indicate that the proposed approach produces less pessimistic results in task blocking time, and better schedulability performance.

Abstract: Video signal generator in aircraft needs fast calculation speed and current generators usually are not suitable. This paper proposed a new generator based on FPGA+DSP. FPGA generated graphics using double frame buffers while DSP calculated a few parameters. We offered general functions library on host computer to design graphics. The generator overlapped graphics and video. By accelerating the graphics drawn by FPGA, the generator improves performance and simplifies program.

Abstract: Putting forward a kind of parameters monitor management solutions of electric vehicle charging pile based on ARM-Linux embedded software and hardware platform. This system regarded embedded processing chip S3C2440A as the core of data collection, management and control, completed the design of function interface of charging pile, and developed touch interface of charging pile in QT/Embeded environment. The system realized such functions, for instance, charging identification, the account balance recognition, charging qualification discriminant, charging rev. Stop control etc. Experiments show that this scheme can meet the monitoring management system requirements of the electric vehicle charging pile , and has certain practical value
