Abstract: Compared with the single sensor measuring, the complementary measuring with the dual sensor can solve some key problems in the vehicle self-navigation system. Two sensors’ data must be fused by the federal state estimator. Based on the Singer model, the system equation of Dead Reckoning sensor is nonlinear and the system equation of Global Positioning System sensor is linear. A two-level estimator is designed and implemented in such a way that two local estimators process the linear and nonlinear systems respectively, and the main estimator fuses the data from two local estimators, so that the optimal global state variables can be estimated. The simulation results show that the two-level estimator of dual sensor can increase the vehicle’s self-navigation precision and can be applied in urban intelligent traffic.

Abstract: The work in the paper constructed a platform for vehicle’s controllability and stability study conveniently and efficiently. Based on the dynamic model of the two-mass vibration system of vehicle body and wheel, the paper builds a vibration platform using the graphical programming software LabVIEW. It establishes a sinusoidal input road surface model, simulates the sinusoidal road surface under different amplitude and frequencies, and makes it the excitation source of the vibration system. It also obtains the curves of the amplitude-frequency characteristic of vehicle body and wheel displacement on the pavement displacement, and the time-domain response and amplitude-frequency characteristic curve of the body acceleration, suspension spring dynamic deflection and wheel relative dynamic load. This simulation platform provides an intuitive and effective method for vehicle ride comfort both in time domain and frequency domain.

Abstract: The article expounds the design technique of parametrical three-dimension model of the mixer which is a part of the automated power generating complex, used for coal-water fuel preparation. The possibility of the kinematic characteristics analysis of the mixer on the basis of engineering calculations in T-Flex CAD is shown.

Abstract: This paper presents a new method for the analysis of the crankshaft strength by using the softwares of solidworks, matlab and ansys. Using the powerful modeling function of solidworks, the three-dimensional model of crankshaft was established. Applying the techniques of numerical operation, graph display and GUI of matlab, the simulation calculations of kinematics, dynamics of crankshaft was carried out and the force and torque of crankshaft was obtained. Making full use of finite element analysis function of ansys, the modal analysis and strength analysis of crankshaft were made. The results show that it is valid to take the respective advantages of solidworks, matlab and ansys to establish a simple and effective approach for the analysis of the crankshaft strength, which supplies foundation for the optimization design and dynamic response of crankshaft.

Abstract: This paper made the point cloud data processing for the aircraft engine’s blade. First, collected rough point cloud data by using visual measuring equipment. Then, noise reduced and smoothed, feature detected the point cloud data, took the reasonable simplification, finished pre-processing the point cloud data. Finally, took the surface fitting for the point cloud data after processed. The result proved that processing the point cloud data reduced modeling and machining time, and improved smoothness of the model.

Abstract: In construction of CSCD system for distribution engineering, there existed two main problems: the design security control, the call speed and reuse efficiency of CAD drawings. This paper has designed the electronic signature and the electronic seal, the decision program of validity of CAD files to solve the security problem after the risks in their circulating process were analyzed. Furthermore, the three-layer distribution network topological structure, the Classified and layered storage methods, the smart client and the knowledge push methods of CAD files have been developed to increase the call speed and reuse efficiency. The technical methods have been verified feasible in the practical operation of FJCD system.

Abstract: Boiler failure is the main power plant boiler operation fault. And boiler superheater tube is one of the important reasons for boiler failure, which affects the safe and stable operation of power generation equipment. Structure design and calculation of boiler superheater has important influence on performance and life of boiler, so three-dimensional structural model of boiler superheater is built in this paper. Based on the finite element method boiler superheater in temperature and stress coupled field are analyzed. The highest temperature, maximum stress, and distribution characteristics of stress and temperature couple field of boiler superheater including straight and elbow section are computed. The date on the actual operation of a power plant was used in the process of analysis. And thermal physics and mechanical properties of the boiler superheater tube were taken full consideration. It provides a reliable basis for reasonable design and safety evaluation of the boiler superheater.

Abstract: A T-B spline curves with a shape parameter λ is presented in this paper, which has simple structure and can be used to design curves. Analogous to the four B-spline curves, each curve segment is generated by five consecutive control points. For equidistant knots, the curves are C^2 continuous, but when the shape parameter λ equals to 0 , the curves are C^3 continuous. Moreover, this spline curve can be used to construct open and closed curves and can express ellipses conveniently.

Abstract: In order to accelerate the efficiency of research and development for new products and in light of the current numerous CAD, CAM softwares and the practical situations of CNC machine tools, etc. in our Center, CAD/CAM/DNC integration & networked platform is established and the respective advantages of softwares are utilized so as to realize the research and development of complex curved surface mechanism parts. The method tactfully utilizes the advantages of current powerful popular softwares and, through their powerful cooperation and respective functions, completes the research and development of complex curved surface mechanism parts based on network CAD/CAM/DNC, significantly improving the efficiency of research and development for new products.

Abstract: Taking the natural disaster map as an example, this paper discusses the three-dimensional design supported by Computer-aid Cartography (CAC). It tries to make full use of the unique height and facade visual variables of three-dimensional symbols to express more information, and takes the shadow of three-dimensional symbols as a visual variable to apply in disaster maps. The combined application of the size and the shadow of three-dimensional symbols can maximize the utilization of the optimum visual variable and enhance the readability of the map. Through the questionnaire survey, the paper designs a series of proportional circles suitable for the popular thematic atlas format, thus achieves the automatic size customization of map symbol supported by CAC and conducive to the automation of computer aided mapping.
