Abstract:

Vehicle horizontal hollow stabilizer bar was born for car’s weight losing, but its stiffness and fatigue life has been being the focus of research. For the problem, this paper gives a new method to calculate hollow stabilizer bar’s stiffness and predict its fatigue life with finite element software and MSC, Fatigue, reliable and convenient, Innovation for this paper is giving a solution to the difficulties of the theoretical calculation of the hollow stabilizer bar stiffness, and a set of effective fatigue life prediction method of the hollow stabilizer bar. This method provides a technical basis for product design, shortens the design and production cycle, and greatly reduces the waste of destructive testing. Introduction
