Abstract: Direct torque control selected switching voltage vector according to torque hysteresis comparator output, flux hysteresis comparator output, and sector. One switching voltage vector selection approach was proposed. It used support vector regression machine to carry out direct torque control switching voltage vector selection. The selection of eight switching voltage vectors was an eight classification problem. This classification problem was changed into regression problem by support vector regression machine. The nonlinear function used for switching voltage vector selection was gained by support vector regression machine training. Asynchronous motor direct torque control simulation result shows feasibility and effectivity of proposed method.

Abstract: This paper provides a review of fiber optic pipeline monitoring sensors development over recent decades. We analyze pipeline monitoring sensors based upon different optical techniques, such as Sagnac effect, Brillouin & Raman backscattering, fiber Bragg grating, Mach-Zehnder interference and OTDR (Rayleigh backscattering). We present theoretical principles & experimental achievements by the different techniques and analyze the advantages & weaknesses for each technique. Finally, some future research directions in this research field are discussed.

Abstract: A decoupled alpha-beta-gamma filter is developed to centralized measurement fusion for tracking the same maneuvering target in a multi-sensor environment. Based upon data compression and decoupling techniques, the Tracking Index which is defined as the target maneuverability to the fused measurement uncertainty ratio plays the fundamental role in the steady-state solution. The solution yields a closed form, consistent set of tracking gains and error covariance expressed as a function of the steady-state gains. The proposed filter provides a methodology to integrate measurements into one to obtain a final state estimate using closed-form equations. The simulation results are presented which demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract: The complexity of sea environment and the uncertainty of AUV model lead to difficulties of heading control. It is difficult to satisfy its requirement for high accuracy and fast speed through the use of a single control method, based on the peculiarity of AUV and the existing problem of control, We propose a fuzzy-PID control method based on a grey model, which combines fuzzy control with PID control, Our simulations confirm that our method provides higher robustness and adaptive property than regular PID, it is suitable for the use of AUV in complexity sea environment.

Abstract: In order to achieve the precise control of the compressed air foam proportioning on the fire engines, in this paper, the PIC microcontroller and the fuzzy control algorithm are used to design the microcontroller-based foam proportioning hybrid fuzzy control system. Taking into account the system cost and ease, we use the software to implement the fuzzy control of DC motor. The controller learns from the experience of skilled operators, and forms fuzzy control rules, finally we identify a number of important control parameters in this paper. The experimental results show that the fuzzy control system can achieve precise control of the mixing ratio

Abstract: To solving the inefficiency-problem in warship combat command and control system, this paper builds multi-agent oriented system architecture. It uses CORBA to support communication among heterogeneous systems and uses UML to design system prototype. Taking our two warships chasing an enemy-warship collaboratively for example, this paper illustrates the agent-oriented modeling process, including the role model, interaction model, state model and class model. This approach is able to meet the needs of modeling the warship combat command and control system.

Abstract: To overcome the huge difficulties in constructing an accurately finite element model in health diagnosis of bridge, this paper presented an improved diagnosis method via exponential weighted moving average (EWMA) control chart. Firstly the characteristic of the live-load effect of main girder strain in a bridge was analyzed as a theoretical basis of the proposed strategy. Then wavelet analysis was employed to extract the live-load effect of strain from the total measurement as sensitive feature for structural health diagnosis. Finally the EWMA control chart was designed to complete the structural health diagnosis of bridge, in which the multi-stage control limits are estimated by reliability analysis. The results from application in a concrete cable-stayed bridge show significant effectiveness of the proposed method in health diagnosis of bridge.

Abstract: This paper introduces realization of the system based on Siemens PLC and IFIX configuration software. The system uses Siemens s7-300 PLC as the control center, and realizes inter-connection with Industrial Switches, control of the belt transport system, and automatic commodity information collection. It is proved that the system could carry out goods safely and stably. Moreover, it is effective to save the manpower and improve the efficiency.

Abstract: Hybrid electric vehicle was powered by motor and engine. So making a good energy management strategy to torque split between motor and engine is very important. A static control strategy is not suitable for all drive cycles and all driving habits. This paper designs an adaptive control strategy for parallel HEV. In order to regulate the SOC balance of batter, the adaptive control strategy can update itself through analyzing the data obtained from previous driving cycle. Adaptive control strategy was tested in driving cycle of BC_CTC, the result prove that this method is effective.
