A Consumers’ Preference Study on E-Book Reading

Abstract:

E-books reading has been became a new reading trend that makes book publishers need to focus on this critical issue seriously. In spite of the book content providers, the three major Taiwan’s telecom companies also provide the e-reading environment to their customers. The on-line survey was conducted for the study to ask user’s perspectives on the e-reading experience. Research findings showed that the readers concerned about the immediate, efficient, diverse, convenient, and easy to access reading environment. Improve the digital publishing workflow is the best way to meet readers’ needs. Once readers’ needs have been fulfilled, e-reading world will be flourished.
