The Processes of Practicing Green-Mark of Printing Companies in Taiwan

Abstract:

Taiwan Green-Mark was authorized by the government so as to put it into practice. However, Taiwan Green-Mark of printing companies is a unique automatic initialization by printing industry. In order to explore the possibility of Taiwan Green-Mark of printing companies, the research method conducted with content analysis, experts interview and panel discussion. It constructs the content of Taiwan Green-Mark of printing companies for eight indicators and its implementation processes. The draft of Taiwan Green-Mark of printing companies mainly referred to Nordic Eco-labelling of Printing Companies in Nordic countries, Environmental marketing CCD-041 and Environmental marketing CCD-141 in Canada while accompanied with domestic environmental bill and pollution control standards. The indicators were built by case studies and experiments in 16 printing companies have been well modified their original design. Printing companies apply its own Taiwan Green-Mark not only improve their products quality but also express good will to environment.
