Abstract: In today's Internet, there are large amounts of data spreading over many physical distributed nodes which makes it impractical to send all the data to one central node for query processing. Finding distributed frequent items is important for a number of applications such as DDoS attack mitigation and worm detection. In this paper we propose a novel distributed frequent item mining framework with guaranteed accuracy and lowest communication cost. The theoretical correctness and communication complexity analyses are presented.

Abstract: The mobile network has been developed from 2nd Generation (2G) to Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in Korea. The purpose of this paper is to examine the key factors which affect network development, and to recognize how the mobile carriers and users perceive the rapid change of mobile technology. This study focuses on a pretest to confirm the important factors from the Focus Group Interview (FGI) to Korean Telco representatives and mobile device users. The results show that mobile device users consider devices and contents as more important factors while Korean Telco representatives pursue various strategies and priorities for network evolution. The study will contribute to recognize the differences between providers and users for introducing the new mobile network. Since this paper only describes the pretest results, further research will be conducted with in-depth interview data and statistical approaches.

Abstract: Based on the extended Huygens-Fresnel principle, the analytical expressions for the intensity of partially coherent sinusoidal-Gaussian beams with Schell-model correlator in atmospheric turbulence along a slant path are derived, and used to study the evolution of intensity distribution of partially coherent sinusoidal-Gaussian beams, including partially coherent sin-Gaussian (SiG), cos-Gaussian (CoG), sinh-Gaussian (ShG), cosh-Gaussian (ChG) beams. It is shown that the different intensity distribution at the source plane of the four beams evolve to the same Gaussian distribution in atmospheric turbulence along a slant path. The spreading of the partially coherent sinusoidal-Gaussian beams along a horizontal path is larger than that along a slant path in the long atmospheric propagation, and the slant path is more beneficial to the beam propagation through atmospheric turbulence in comparison with the horizontal propagation. The validity of our results is interpreted physically. Results in this paper may provide potential applications in free-space optical communications.

Abstract: We selected the constant price GDP and telecom business volume as the national economy and communications industry development metrics. First, we analyzed China's communication industry development in China since 1978 according to the industry life cycle theory. Then we used the time series model by detrending to make the two sequences stationary and took Granger causality test. The results show that China's telecommunications industry is in the late growth stage. There is a unidirectional causality from GDP to the direction of the telecom business volume.

Abstract: According to the problem that it is not convenient to carry out experiments in the course of "Medical Electronic Instrument Principle", an instructional and experimental system of non-invasive electronic sphygmomanometer is designed. This system is composed of a hardware platform and a software platform. The hardware platform includes all the components to implement an electronic sphygmomanometer, such as the electric pump, valve, pressure transducer, LCD, MCU and other associated circuits. The hardware platform also has a USB interface. It can transfer data to the software platform in a predefined format. The software platform can receive data and display curves from these data to facilitate the understanding of the data processing procedure. Based on this system, teachers can demonstrate the measurement principle of the electronic sphygmomanometer, while students can practice its implementation. The system provided a good platform for the instruction and experiment of the non-invasive electronic sphygmomanometer.

Abstract: The development of new technology enables the comfort service becoming an important requirement in the air travel industry. Long haul air travel may cause different physiological and psychological discomfort of aircraft passenger. Most of the aircraft company treats the passenger comfort as a main priority for the user’s acceptance of their airline. In order to improve the aircraft passenger body comfort during long haul air travel, an adaptive body support system was developed and embedded in the economy class aircraft seat. In this paper, we describe the development of adaptive body support system.

Abstract: When programming CUDA or OpenCL on multi-GPU systems, the programmers usually expect the GPUs on the same system can communicate fast with each other. For instance, they hope a device memory copy from GPU1s memory to GPU2s memory can be done inside the graphics card, and needn’t to employ the PCIE, which is in relative low speed. In this paper, we propose an idea to add a multi-channel memory to the multi-GPU board, and this memory is only for transferring data between different GPUs. This multi-channel memory should have multiple interfaces, including one common interface shared by different GPUs, which is connected with a FPGA arbitration circuit and several other interfaces connected with dedicated GPUs frame buffer independently. To distinguish the shared memory of a stream multiprocessor, we call this memory Global Shared Memory. We analyze the performance improvement expectation with this global shared memory, with the case of accelerating computer tomography algebraic reconstruction on multi-GPU.

Abstract: Full-Color LED display-Screen is widely used as a new information display device in all aspects of life, the large Full-Color LED Display-Screen color is composed of enhanced MCU or ARM, but the real-time and flexibility of the control system do not satisfy the require of people ,With the continuous improvement of people's living standard. FPGA is favored by the embedded development generally,so a new Full-Color LED Display-Screen was designed based on FPGA and ARM, the system choose the Cortex-M3 ARM as kernel board controller, using the FPGA to scan and control display data, using WI-FI wireless network to communicate though the computer software. The test shows that the system is reasonable, realizable, operated easily, flexible, adaptable environment, low price. This system can support picture to display on 256 gray-scale full-color, and can be communicate with WI-FI on high speed and it will be used widely in the practical system.

Abstract: The volume tendency of in-use and second-hand computers in China were analyzed, the emerging danger of second-hand computers by incorrect treatment was summarized, the integration disposal technologies based on remanufacture and reuse technology aiming at monitors, electronic devices, metals, plastics materials, and overall computers were put forward, the economic and social benefits were also analyzed. The results show that the integration disposal process of second-hand computer is an optimum approach to save the resource of electromechanical products. Remanufacturing and disposal 100 thousands second-hand computers per year could create profits about ¥10 millions and provide employment for 300 persons. It can be deduced that there are great potential opportunities for the second-hand computers disposal industry containing recycle, remanufacture and reuse engineering.
