Abstract: combined with the spillway design of Xiaoguo reservoir reinforcement engineering, this paper introduces and researches the whole arrangement of the spillway, the calculation of discharge capacity and water surface line of chute and hydraulic calculation of stilling pool. The related process and results can provide a reference for similar engineering.

Abstract: Super dam construction under high steep slope is threatened by the uncertainty of shear strength development of rock-concrete joints. With numerical theory, the shear stress vector distribution of interface was studied. The simulation results show that dam section 23 of Xiluodu arch dam has enough safety reservation at rock-concrete joints zones with 4-lift separate pouring.

Abstract: In order to quantify the goal of earthquake-proof, such as minor earthquake, earthquake repair and earthquake does not fall, the project will analyze the seismic performance in three stages according to the sub-structure of small earthquakes, moderate earthquake, large earthquake. First, in the small earthquakes stage the method of MIDAS finite element analysis software will be used to calculate and analyze, meanwhile, the method of flexible schedule analysis will be as a supplementation to seismic checking. Second, in the stage of moderate earthquake, the data is calculated by adjusting the corresponding parameter values. Third, in the large earthquake stage, Pushover Analysis will be adopted. The aim is to identify weaknesses and to propose corresponding seismic measures in the structure by the Seismic performance analysis.

Abstract: In combination with the practice of a large hydropower station, concrete damaged plasticity model is introduced into the steel-liner reinforced concrete penstock for the nonlinear analysis, the damage distribution rules of the surrounding concrete and the stresses of the steels are furtherly studied under the different tension softening characteristic curves, the conclusions can provide the reference for damage assessment of the surrounding concrete and the optimization allocation of the reinforcement for the penstock.

Using the coupled model of foundation pit dewatering and land subsidence and putting it into foundation pit dewatering construction, analyzes and summarizes the effect of land subsidence in space and time, which will provide references for the design and construction of foundation pit dewatering.

Abstract: The design and analysis procedures of a viscous damping wall for a tall shear wall-frame structure in a high seismic region are briefly introduced. Design method and theoretical basis of viscous damping wall are described, and then the layout scheme is put forward. Under frequent and rare earthquake action, the analysis results of damping structure show that the responses can be reduced perfectly. The maximum story drift angle of viscous damping structure can satisfy the limitations of the seismic code and the additional damping ratio is increased to 3%, all of them can satisfy the target of damping performance.

Abstract: In this paper, we had a field test study in mud-pumping of the subgrade. During the experiment, from the process and the parameters, and based on the laboratory tests, a series of tests on the soil at the mud-pumping of the subgrade have been done before and after the improvement of the physical parameters.Studies show that the adopted materials, processes and parameters to be successful.

Abstract: Taking 1403 coal face of Fengjia coal mine in northern Shaanxi as background, put forward three supporting schemes of crossheading according to different buried depth and coal seam interval. Applying FLAC software, established relevant calculating model, analyzed the stress field and surrounding rock deformation caused by shallow seam mining before and after supporting. Combining the result from site monitoring, obtained the deformation law of crossheading surrounding rocks in the short distance seam: the vertical deformation is the main deformation under the A support scheme. The field tests showed that: the supporting schemes according to the section of crossheading is feasible and it ensured haulage gate roadway’s surrounding rocks stability , met the requirements of safety production in the coal mine, the supporting schemes of crossheading proposed in this paper has reference value to similar project.

Abstract: Trachyte in Zoumaying was erupted in Eocene by 40Ar-39Ar age-dating in previous studies. Multielement Geochemistry analysis and U-Pd radiochronology were introduced on zircons from trachyte in Zoumaying in this paper. The SiO2 and K2O+Na2O contents of trachytes vary between 58.59% to 68.99%, and 10% to 11%. About twenty zircons were selected from trachyte sample with fractures and zonal structure, and most of them were inheritable magmatic zircons. The result of radiochronology on zircon is 60Ma which is similar with the former result as 53.2±0.2Ma.
