The Design of the Electro-Hydraulic Speed Control System for Diesel Engine

The design of a newly developed electro-hydraulic speed control system for diesel engines was presented in this paper. Its general scheme design, actuator design and electronic control unit design were introduced. In the system, the rack position of the fuel injection pump was adjusted by a rack actuator and the fuel supply quantity of the fuel injection pump is adjusted. The system maintained the steady speed control of the diesel engines, enhanced the engine power usage, and reduced the fuel consumption.
