Optimized Energy Saving Design Analysis for Bashang New Rural Residences of Northwestern Hebei Province

Abstract:

Energy consumption by rural residences accounts for large amount with Chinese economic development in an incredible speed. According to the survey of Bashang new rural of northwestern Hebei province by field test, villagers interview and questionnaire, this study made a profound analysis of general situation of the residences, lifestyle, energy consumption and residential thermal sensation, based on which, some results were proposed as follows: (1) south is the best orientation for rural residences of northwestern Hebei province; (2) combine function division and temperature division properly is advisable in period of design; (3) every function parts of the building should be tackled according to the background; (4) much attention should be paid on heat preservation in winter; (5) let villagers get to know the importance of energy saving may play an critic role in rural energy saving and building energy conservation.
