Abstract: In this paper, we analyze LEED and Green Standard, from macroscopic to microscopic views. We reveal the major way to promote green building construction, green building theory and the practice of exploration and innovation. Weight factor between LEED and Green Standard bears different roles and the roadmap of green building is illustrated.

Abstract: This paper was based on heat insulating members made by a new type of waste glass regenerative pumice, with the characteristics of light weight, permeable water retention, ventilation, heat insulation, fire retardant, etc. In the external wall heat insulating system of building envelops, the thermal bridge of external wall corner was simulated with ANSYS. The temperature field and flux field distribution will be shown respectively of non-insulation, self-insulation, internal insulation and external insulation. Through comparing the heat preservation of different insulation forms, the external insulation was better than internal insulation and self-insulation. Besides, considering the imperfection of calculating the wall average heat transfer coefficient in current energy saving standards, a simplified method was presented to calculate the linear heat transmission coefficient with ANSYS. The two coefficients were compared to serve the latest research.

Abstract: Since the inscription of Kaiping Diaolou and Villages on UNESCO’s World Heritage List in June 2007, a multitude of tourists have been attracted to the place. Monuments in Kaiping demon-strate rustic, idyllic beauty of naturalness and convey historical significance. Certain Western trav-ellers even regard the area as the last paradise among cultural heritage sites in China. How to pro-tect the monuments there, to guard them from structural damage or over-commercialisation as at other scenic spots within the country This is a sustained and difficult problem that needs to be tackled with by Kaiping municipal government, its heritage management as well as tourism de-partments. This article takes Paris Hotel, a building in Chikan Town of Kaiping, as an example to search for a sensible adaptive re-use scheme aiming to develop local economy while preserving cultural heritage at the same time.

Abstract: A embankment dam model was established in this paper, and the steady seepage field of the embankment dam in the normal water level conditions was solved based on FEM, then the corresponding seepage force was calculated and the seepage force for each earth stripe was obtained. The slope stability in embankment dam downstream was analyzed with the help of simplified Bishop method which is based on rigid body limit equilibrium coupled with seepage force, and the seepage field’s influence on the slope’s stability was explored, a theoretical basis for the embankment dam engineering design was provided in this paper.

Abstract: This paper using Fluent Software to numerical simulate the heat transfer in square enclosure cavity air layer in different thickness and heights.By analysed the simulation results, we found that the best thickness in it is 20mm .Then we respectively used empirical formula as well as simulation results to calculated the heat transfer coefficient in air layer. The results showed that both numerical were very close, the calculation of heat transfer coefficient was consistent with the simulation results obtained by the rules.

Abstract: Green residential building is energy conservation, environmental protection, healthy and comfortable and stress efficiency. Green building respects the local natural and humanities, climate. Adjust measures to local conditions, use local materials, so there is no definite construction patterns and rules. In this paper a green residential buildings from Shenyang, focus on the analysis of the well insulated building envelope, radiant floor heating system with control system, solar hot water system in the building. At the same time, analysis of the energy saving technology can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions compare with "Residential building energy saving design standards "at Liaoning area. The project gives some experience to other designers in the process of green buildings design and promotes it constructed in the northeastern regions.

Abstract: The concrete technology has seen great improvement with the construction of large numbers of ultrahigh buildings at a height of more than 400 meters worldwide. It has been a research hotspot in the field of concrete recently to discuss how to reduce pumping resistance, avoid pumping block and meet the requirements of ultrahigh pumping (h>400m), especially the challenge of the ultrahigh pumping of HS & HP concrete with larger pumping resistance. This paper researches the selection of raw materials and design of mix proportion of C80 concrete used in the construction, and introduces the workable evaluation index, pumpability and pumping project in relation to the ultrahigh pumping of C80 concrete mixture, according to the construction requirements of the one-off pumping height (412 meters) for the C80 HS & HP concrete used in West Tower Project of Zhujiang (Pearl River) New Town in Guangzhou-- the tallest building in South China Region of mainland China.

Abstract: The full-scale model test is used to study the stability and deformation control of reinforced sloped embankments on mountain slope foundation. According to practical experience in the expressway construction in the mountain region, two full scale model experiments were carried out in laboratory. One model is reinforced by geogrid and the other is un-reinforced in the embankments. The design of the model, test data and analysis methods are emphatically introduced. During the experiments, some key test data were monitored, such as the vertical and horizonal displacements distribution of slope, the vertical displacement on the top of the embank, the internal stress and displacement distribution, the form and position of the slip curve surface in the two embankments. Comparing experiment of reinforced with un-reinforced, it shows that the lateral displacement of embankments of the former is smaller and the stability of embankments is higher than that of the latter. The model experiment results can give reference for the construction of China's western mountain highway.

Abstract: Increasing the development of eco-folk house is one part of the social development creed of establishing economical society and achieving sustainable development. Analyze the spatial layout, indoor thermal environment and energy consumption of rural construction in southern Shanxi by investigation of the local current situation and measurement the indoor environment. In addition, provides reference for west area in China and gives beneficial supplement to practice and theoretical development of eco-folk house.

Abstract: This paper reviews the development status of the new sandwich thermal insulation composite wall, structural features and technical level. We make brief comparison to the application and development of insulation wall in wall materials composition, wall structure forms and wall construction style. Some problems that need to be solved in the engineering practice are discussed and investigated. Based on the housing industrialization, this paper expounds the new sandwich insulation composite wall and proposes some ideas.
