The Construction and Evolution of Eco-City’s Four-Dimensional Model

Abstract:

As an ideal place of residence, eco-city makes a very important role in human life. The residents' production and life and eco-city’s construction and development are closely linked. Research on the main parts and their functions of an eco-city system is very essential to the study of eco-city. In this paper, we propose a four-dimensional model of eco-city that includes non-governmental organizations, government, business and residents. Based on this model, we analyze the importance and functions of the four main parts, and describe the evolution of the model in eco-city’s every stage of development.
