Application of Differential Transform Method to Buckling Problems at Pined-Pined Boundary Conditions
Abstract: Differential Transform Method (DTM) is a new semi-analytical, semi-numerical algorithm, which transforms differential equations to the form of Taylor series. The method derives an approximate numerical solution based on Taylor series expansion, which is a analytical solution built on polynomial form. Traditional Taylor series method is used for symbolic computation, while the Differential Transform Method obtained the solution of the polynomials through itineration calculations. Applying DTM to buckling problems, the critical length of a bar at Pined-Pined boundary is studied. The computational results are compared with analytical solutions and shown excellent agreement between those two algorithms. The method adds a new tool for computational engineering mechanics.

Abstract: The pig farming industry in China has realized a rapid growth in recent years, but the breeding facilities and technologies are still relatively backward compared to those in developed countries. The intelligent precision breeding system proposed in this study are used to identify commercial pigs , collect the data of feed intake and weight, obtain feed conversion rate and increase efficiency of farming enterprises. Besides, the system is designed with an electronic pounds module and radio frequency identification (RFID) module. The software of King View with strong function is chosen to practice managing the collected data and monitoring in time in the upper computer monitoring system. Because there is no driver for RFID module in King View, the study has focused on the dynamic data exchange (DDE) technology, which is applied to accomplish the communication between RFID site and the data of King View. The practical application shows that the system operates steadily and the application scope of King View is extended.

Abstract: This paper mainly introduces the design and programming ideas of data acquisition system for wave energy conversion efficiency test system. The design ideas of this software is that using VC6.0 as a design platform, multi-channel data acquisition through the serial port, and real-time curve display and save the data collected. The serial programming is to use the MSComm control to achieve serial communication between the sensor and PC serial. The software can be used in engineering practice after several tests stable and reliable performance.

Abstract: Feature extraction is the key to the object recognition. How to obtain effective, reliable characteristic parameters from the limited measured data is a question of great importance in feature extraction. This paper presents a method based on Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) for the extraction of Mel Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients (MFCCs) and its first order difference from original speech signals that contain four kinds of emotions such as anger, happiness, surprise and natural for emotion recognition. And the experiments compare the recognition rate of MFCC, differential MFCC (Both of them are extracted based on EMD) or their combination through using Support Vector Machine (SVM) to recognize speakers' emotional speech identity. It proves that the combination of MFCC and its first order difference has a highest recognition rate.

Abstract: Electronic scales and Ethernet technology were used in the real-time data acquisition of pigs food intake and body weight to realize precision breeding of pigs. The control system was designed using programmable control technology to monitor environmental parameters and manage the daily information of the pig farm. The experiment results show that the each pig identity can be accurately identified, and the intake data and weight data can be gained accurately and timely, the control scope of the environmental parameter can meet the design requirements. The basic information of pigs can be put into the database correctly, and precision breeding and management of the commercial pigs can also be realized by making statistic analysis to the database. it made a successful exploration in precision breeding.

Abstract: Geometric Dilution of Precision (GDOP) value will become larger when the number of visible satellites is less than four or the geometry of satellite constellation is poor, a GDOP Chimney Peak phenomenon is also easy to emerge [, the positioning accuracy of GPS receiver will be affected seriously. A vector-based tracking loop GPS/INS receiver design method is proposed in this paper. The current position of receiver is given by INS, Line-of-Sight (LOS) unit vectors between receiver and satellites will be built, which are transmitted into vector tracking loop, the relationship between LOS and GDOP is introduced in detail. Pseudorange and pseudorange-rate are used as measurements to design navigation filter. The simulation results demonstrate that proposed vector tracking method can avoid GDOP Chimney Peak phenomenon, position Root Mean Square error is less than 10 meters.

Abstract: The elevator monitoring system of elevator is an integrated elevator management platform that can realize fault for alarm, rescuing trapped persons, daily management, quality evaluation and preventing hidden trouble by using C8051f060 MCU as the control core to sensor and collect the elevator operation data, with built-in TCP/IP transport protocol and with HuaWei GTM900C GPRS module to realize all kinds of data monitoring of the elevator, and the transmitting of the data to processing server through the network . This paper mainly introduces the formation of wireless monitoring network system and communication protocol construction, and especially analyzes the function and the system architecture of the wireless communication terminal in real-time monitoring. GPRS can not only satisfy the requirement of real-time elevator monitoring system, with low cost and high reliability but can also effectively avoid a variety of problems that are caused by transmitting the alarm data through cables . This system provides many valuable experiences for the development of unattended system, and it has a broad development prospects.

Abstract: This paper drivesthe asymptotical stability conditions for a class of linear systems with time delay.First, aseries of integral inequalities based on quadratic term are formulated bycombining Leibniz-Newton formula. Next, basedon Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method and linearmatrix inequality, the sufficient conditions of delay-dependent stability are derived toensure thelinear systemswith timedelay are asymptotically stable. Last, the results are illustrated by some numerical examples andthe delay bounds obtained in this paper are of less conservative.

Abstract: One classic algorithm usedin template matching is normalized cross correlation method. It often achieveshigh precision. But it does not meet speed requirements for time-criticalapplications. To solve that issue, a speed-up way of template matching isproposed. The fast matching way bases on pyramid hierarchical searchingalgorithm. It adopts two template matching methods to match images, which baseon rough matching proceeds local matching precision. Firstly, the coarsematching is performed based on gray-scale projection algorithm. Secondly, theprecise matching is made based on several small block matching. The new way iscompared to conventional approach without pyramid hierarchical searching byexperiments. Experimental result demonstrates that the proposed way efficientlyimproves the speed of template matching and the precision is unchanged.

Abstract: This paper presents a real-time dynamic obstacle detection algorithm using a scan matching method considering image information from a mobile robot equipped with a camera and a laser scanner. By combining image and laser scan data, we extract a scan segment corresponding to the dynamic obstacle. To complement the performance of scan matching, poor in dynamic environments, the extracted scan segment is temporarily removed. After obtaining a good robot position, the position of the dynamic obstacle is calculated based on the robot’s position. Through two experimental scenarios, the performance of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated.
