Composite Squeeze Casting of Large Parts

Article Preview

Abstract:

The article aims to put forward a kind of mold structure and corresponding composite squeeze casting process for large parts. Example will base on an Aluminum alloy wheel hub of heavy-duty tuck. Author analyzes the manufacturing production workflow of the corresponding equipments and the main parameters of process. The composite squeeze casting process can retain the advantages of direct squeeze casting while reduce the probability of inhale and oxidation of molten metal at the same time. It is especially suitable for producing large parts, and has wide applicability.
